Mango pillow was just okay - nothing special and costs $10. Best part about it was just the mango inside, the casing tastes kind of bland.Though I enjoyed staying in the cafe, staff also brought around water which was really nice.

Honeymoon Dessert is arguably one of my favourite spots for Asian desserts, and they have opened a new location on Spadina! Service was great as they were very attentive and came to check up on us to see if everything was okay. It’s currently soft opened but their grand opening has been announced to occur this weekend (May 21-22)!Their pillows are always a hit as the cream is very soft and the filling is always in generous portions. I also recommend the mango pomelo sago, it was very refreshing and creamy at the same time. The desserts here are like a honeymoon: sweet, fresh, full of light and love, but a bit pricey.Stopped by for an afternoon snack and got the durian pillows (lots of filling, strong durian taste), mango pomelo soup and grass jelly (super refreshing, good mango chunks) and chen-pui tea with pear (great hot tea for a cold day, generous amount of pear). Enjoyed all of them, but liked the pillows the most.Service is friendly (note: you go to the counter to order). Place is well-lit, clean, and well laid out. Menu has meal/food options too besides the desserts and drinks. Would go back for my second honeymoon if I'm in the area.

We ordered the mango pomelo and sago sweet soup with bean curd. The mangoes were raw and extremely sour.

Double Durian in Vanilla Ice - Two scoops of durian ice cream, that's quite smooth and has a distinct durian flavour that reminds me of the real fruit. The vanilla ice is fragrant with vanilla but I felt was a little too sweet. the strawberries were quite bland.Mango Pomelo and Sago Sweet Soup with Matcha Ice Cream - The pomelo was a bit on the dry side and the mango sago soup only had a moderate mango flavour. I found the matcha ice cream to taste good, but no too harmonious with the sago soup and melted quickly inside too.Follow @bredgyeats for more food posts!

Went with the friends during the soft opening and had pleasant experience. They have both Asian desserts and savory meal options. It was my first time trying the egg waffles and I was pleasantly surprised for how good they were. Salted egg yolk flavour was my favourite but I enjoyed the taro and corn flavours as well. Other than that I had red bean soup which was very comforting especially in the cold weather. My friends who tried the rice with chicken and other stuff were satisfied with the quality and price. The staff were welcoming and happy to answer the questions we asked with nice smile on their face. Definitely recommended!

We came here with the intention of trying something different. Of course the ube pillows and the rice balls with peanuts were something we never had tried before. They tasted good. The service is fast and the people are warm. Overall the experience was great!

The custard was spectacular! The shaved ice was not quite fluffy, which did disappoint me. I would not recommend the shaved ice, unfortunately. However, I would recommend their mango pillows which were not too sweet and filled with juicy mango!
