Marc Paris Shoes

Amazing!! I couldn't believe Marc's workmanship at Paris Shoe Works. I took my well-loved Naot sandals that our young dog had chewed into and he made them new again! Picked out a similar colour of leather for the strap, hand stitched and repaired them and offered to redo the lining under the strap. Can't believe how talented he is. Even designs and makes his own shoes...definitely a lost art and I would support and use this cobbler for all our family's shoe works! Definitely a hidden gem of a place :). Oh and did I say his prices are very reasonable too?!

I brought 4 pairs of shoes for re-soling ranging from inexpensive boots to Italian oxfords. Upon the first visit the man who works there ( I didn't catch his name) provided quotes and explained what he would have to do for each pair. Super friendly.The following week I picked them up and they looked great. He went over them and stayed true to his quotes. He polished them quite nicely in that some of the pairs which are years old looked brand new.This was my first visit to this place and so far the shoes are holding up. The soles are great and I am super happy with the service.

I went into Paris Shoe works for the first time to repair, fit and clean my shoes. He did a great job modifying my sneaker and removing a part of the shoe that bothered me, he also did a great job cleaning, my white shoes look like new! Additionally I brought a used pair of sneakers I bought that had a sticky gross residue on the inside, he completely removed the residue and repaired the old 90s sneakers to look brand new, at a great price as well. He also spent the time trying different methods of making a pair of shoes fit better. Letting me try on the different padding and gave great advice. Marc is also shoe artist, as he makes costume fit beautiful shoes as well. I will definitely be coming to him in the future and will one day save up for him to build a costume fit hiking boot! Marc is a great guy and small business like Paris Shoe works are worth supporting and you will get a great job/ great price as a result!

These people are magic!Mark took this place over a few months ago. I got him talking and found out he has a long history with shoes. He made orthotics for some time and has a wealth of advice on fit and mechanics. His work is high quality and he repaired my two pairs of shoes back to a point that was far better than I expected. I’m going to hunt around my house for more shoes for him to resurrect.

I have been taking my shoes here for years. He always does excellent work at fair prices and goes the extra mile, polishing shoes to make them look like new. Fast, friendly and courteous service. I trust my most expensive footwear to Jericho Shoe Repair. Highly recommended!

This place in the Jericho Village Shopping Center is the best shoe repair shop one can possibly ask for ! Brought my beloved ten year old pair of Timberland boat shoes for a resole and the owner Marc Paris (a fourth generation shoemaker) did a perfect job rejuvenated them. Quick turnaround, excellent workmanship, reasonable pricing, professional, courteous, and friendly ! This shop is a gem which deserves every support of the community !

Dishonest and incompetence shoe repair. I brought a pair of Tods shoes, and asked them to clean a tiny coin-sized beer drop one of the front shoes. Agreed on a $15 service fee, i was told to pick up a few days later. When the day comes, i was returned a pair of shoes with totally damaged and ruined. The suede was scratched terribly, the pure red color was somehow became darkish red, with all kinds of solution spots. The shoes was completely destroyed, and it costed me $526.10. This dishonest owner of Jericho Shoe Repair was refused to apologize, compensate. Even, he is not willing to discuss it. WOW, unbelievable! Currently i have filed a complain with better business bureau, hoping they will help me with this. If not, i definitely will sue them at no matter what costs. This kind of business should be banned, in order to protect potential victims from them. By the way, until today, my shoes have not been returned. They never called, email, or whatever. Never go to this place! they just take your money and not do the job. even worse, they may take your money and ruin your belongings.

Brought my snowboard boots in for repair, and the owner devised a very clever solution for a difficult to fix issue. All the repairs are holding up great, and the pricing was very reasonable. Owner is friendly and nice to talk to

Marc is the new owner of the shoe repair store. The previous owner was doing miracles so it can be challenging for anyone taking over the business. We had 2 pairs of hiking shoes to fix (replace the Vibram soles) and redo a damaged stitch. The jobs have been done in no time and perfectly. Definitely a “keeper” in your “best in Vancouver” listing.

I’ve brought 3 pairs of shoes in and all have been excellently repaired. This includes a pair of cycling shoes where he was able to reattach the plastic clip that had come off. Highly recommended.
