A pleasant small museum with a wealth of information on local marine history. It was great to be able to climb the stairs to the top of the light house. Great view of the lake!

Really small, but lovely museum. My favorite part was the collection of letters from the war and the wool bathing suits. It also offers a visit to one of the oldest light houses in Ontario. Lots of beautiful and well kept artifacts.

Port Burwell Marine Museum and Historic Lighthouse
A fun little museum and lighthouse tour. Cost our family of 5 (kids 7, 5 and 3) $10.00 total. It was worth it. There's a fun little scavenger hunt to do in the museum for kids and an interactive board where the kids can match pictures to causes of shipwrecks. Lots of very interesting things to learn. The kids really enjoyed being able to climb the lighthouse steps. Part of the museum is under construction (a two level portion of a ship) which will add even more to this small but plentiful place!

Interesting items in a small museum with lots to see. The staff was very kind, helpful and outgoing. We enjoyed climbing the wooden lighthouse. We recommend stopping by, the rates were very reasonable.

Definitely worth going up if you're visiting Port Burwell. Warning, is quite narrow at the top!

Port Burwell Marine Museum and Historic Lighthouse
Another must stop location if you are in the area.It may be a small location, but it is full of rich history and amazing pieces. Take the time to appreciate what this little museum has to offer.I hear people complain about the price, but really its a one time fee and worth it if you are actually interested in what it has to offer. It also give you access to the lighthouse across the street, which is another favorite place to go for our family.i highly recommend visiting this museum.

Great little museum, took my kids 6&2 and they were fascinated with all the boat models and big lights inside. Well worth the price to walk around and support a small community. Very friendly staff as well.

Fun little spot....interesting marine artifacts, along with a good history of the town, make for pleasant time. Do pay a little extra for the lighthouse admission...then get ready for a brisk climb up the steep stairs...worth the effort for a neat little excursion!
