Worst psychiatrist. Seems to enjoy belittling you, and is very rude. Stay away.

If you have been referred to Dr. Ticoll, please do some research to find another psychiatrist right away. You will save so much time. He thinks all his patients are lying about everything, he talks over you, doesn't care about the medication side effects you're experiencing, thinks you're lying about the side effects, etc. If you prefer to not have to deal with this, request a referral to another doctor right away. Also, don't be fooled by his reviews on RateMyMd. Most of the 4-5 star reviews are fake. They sound fake and what's hilarious is one of the reviews seemed like the author was getting defensive about the negative reviews. Common they've gotta be smarter than this!

Rude, judgmental and completely out of date with current mental health treatment.

Warm, understanding, supportive, compassionate and someone you can trust, really talk to and who will treat you honestly and truthfully as to your issues and treatment.As is common in this profession some patients from accumulated stress and symptoms can experience challenges early in their treatment program and stress from illness.

Stay away!!, sadly he was my first attempt of getting help and he made me feel worse after talk to him. I didn't get anywhere with this guy. On top of that he blame me that I did show up in person when I was not told. I even took the day off work to talk to him.

Steer clear!
