This place is great. I just had the chicken friend rice, chicken lo mein and ginger beef. All great. Generous ingredients. Rice and noodles packed with meat and veg.

Ordered for the first time.Food is Horrible,don't understand the good the reviews.Chicken balls are all dough.Rice is old.Wasted $30AVOID THIS PLACE ITS HORRIBLE

Not understanding all the good reviews here. Chicken balls were extremely bland. It’s a Chinese place operating in a “daytime” breakfast grill? Makes no sense- avoid this spot. So many better choices in Burlington

Ordered Chinese food from uber for the lunar new year. Honestly this food is kind of garbage. It just tastes weird. Never make that mistake again.

By far the best Chinese food I have had in Burlington! This place is really good, only problem is it's kind of hidden. You would never guess with the name daytime grill. For anyone looking for Chinese food in Burlington this is a must try place! General Tso's is perfect! Chicken Fried Rice is done right!

Jiayan Chinese Restaurant
We ordered food for Chinese New Year and it was the best I've ever had in Burlington, and I've tried almost all of them over the years. The vegetables were fresh, the tofu dish was delicious and not overly spicy, the fired rice excellent and the Shanghai noodles very tasty. The chicken balls were crispy with lots of chicken inside. I've been to China twice and eaten authentic Chinese cuisine, but I'd have to go to Markham for that these day, so when we have a craving for North American Chinese food, we'll be going to Jiayan for sure.

My first try. Jiayan Chinese Restaurant/Daytime Grill has the best Chinese food I have ever eaten - better than The Mandarin or Chen Chinese up the street near Fortinos. Fresh, tender, good portions. Highly recommended! This is where I will be getting all my Chinese food from now on. The Canadian" food looks good too. Look forward to trying it out. Have never come across a combo Chinese food/Canadian food restaurant before. I think it's a great idea."

We ordered from Jiayan for the first time on Christmas Eve. Food was delivered on time, was fresh, hot and delicious. Portion size was generous. Everyone loved it. We'll definitely order again.

It was a nice little spot we got to stop by! Had the 2 can dine combo! The portions were great! Had chicken fried rice , chicken balls and chicken chow mein and the egg roll as an appetizer! So good. The service was really nice! I'd come back for sure!
