The girls at the front are so pleasant and friendly. There is no waiting here, everyone is on time for you. The dentist (I forget his name but a young man) was very nice, smart, didn’t hurt me at all and I had a root canal, very gentle and good with the needle, fast yet did such a great job. The dental assistant was very kind and helpful. The inside of the dental office is beautiful, very clean and modern, well taken care of.

Thought this was a great local practice, referred my wife as well as son and extended family. That is until I developed cancer. When I informed them about my immunotherapy they refused to treat me. Of course you have a dental hygenist asking you personal medical questions in an open non-private area, she would shuttle back and forth to tell the dentist my information, he didn't even come to talk to me. At least at a doctor's office they don't make you talk about personal medical issues in the damned hallway.The treatment is for bladder cancer and is done in the bladder, it is not systemic. In fact the medical literature states it's OK to return to normal activities after 2 weeks. I was putting off getting a crown until after this round of surgeries and immunotherapy and was looking forward to getting my dental issues resolved. They told me I had to prove I didn't have TB ( the bacteria used is a bovine TB). In consultation with folks at Bladder Cancer Canada they told me that it was wrong for them to refuse me dental care. I agree.Bladder cancer patients who have had BCG should look elsewhere for dental care, and anyone with medical issues you aren't comfortable disclosing to a hygenist in a hallway might be better off in another practice as well.

I’ve been having my regular cleanings at Nanoose Bay Dental for the past couple of years, and am very satisfied by this organization. All the support staff are very friendly and professional, and Dr. Wong appears to be completely capable and professional as well. I look forward to continuing with this group, and am grateful that they are servicing our community, and I heartily endorse them for all my dental needs.Just had my four month cleaning at Nanoose Bay Cleaning. Love the hygienist. She is very capable, explained all my options as we went and introduced me to my dentist for the very first time at the end of the cleaning. He addressed my concern about a small crack in my bridge that needed fixing. Meghan then explored what insurance coverage I already had with regard to this procedure and we determined to proceed with the fixing. The repair feels much better and the Doctor made sure I was as comfortable as possible. I am very satisfied with their approach to me and look forward to continuing my coverage with them. Outstanding service from this clinic . They offer modern , updated care . I was impressed that a dental lab came to my appointment , saved me another trip for a crown . Hygeinists are skillful and educate well about prevention . Dentists are skillful and communicate treatment options well . I appreciate coming to a clinic close to my home and commend the team for keeping a commitment to this clinic .

Dr. Brendan Kwok is an excellent dentist. I can always count on Dr.Kwok, he is a professional that takes pride in his work. Such detailed care and attention.
