St. Catharines Oral Surgery

My sister and I recently got all 4 wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Vigna and couldn't be more happy with the experience. From the 1st consultation to the surgery Dr. Vigna and his staff were always polite, welcoming, and willing to answer any and all of our questions. We were both quite nervous but the surgery and aftercare was extremely easy and both of us experienced little to no pain or discomfort after. Would definitely recommend Dr. Vigna to anyone needing wisdom teeth removal

I was treated exceptionally well by the entire staff at St. Catharines Oral Surgery. I am a very nervous patient and Dr. Vigna went to great lengths to reassure me and make me comfortable. I have had previous dental implants done at other dental clinics and there is no comparison to the service and care I received by Dr. Vigna. I would highly recommend his services.

I was very nervous about having a tooth pulled on May 5. But Kelly in the office, Dr. Vigna and everyone else made it much easier for me. It is a great place and the extraction was done quickly and painlessly. And to get a phone call the next day to see how I was doing was very special. Thank you for a great experience.

Dr. Vigna and his staff are true professionals. I recently had 4 wisdom teeth extracted and my experience from my first phone call to the office to the follow up appointment was seamless. Dr. Vigna has great bedside manner. He is caring and knowledgeable, he took the time to talk and explain the surgery, answer questions and discuss any concerns. The surgery and recovery went very well and his staff were fantastic with patient care. I highly recommend Dr. Vigna for any oral surgery needs.

Dr. Vigna is a very professional surgeon, don’t confuse his confidence with arrogance, he was on call as an emergency dental surgeon at the general hospital for years and has seen it all. I had implants done approx. three years ago and everything turned out perfect. He also put in 2 extra posts at no charge to make sure failure was not an option. This guy goes above and beyond the call of duty.

I had a very bad experience. He improperly placed the implant and after 5 months i had to go trough another surgery to remove it. Even i went for control he never noticed that he made a mistake.it was very painfull procedure because of not proper freezing. He did not even care that i was feeling everything when he was removing the implant.he returned the money that i paid.i would never go back to his office again. I do not re ommend him at all.

This review of dental surgeon Dr Lorenzo Vigna is long overdue.Due to personal circumstances, I have found it difficult to write.Decided to have oral surgery. Not able to afford braces when I was young, my teeth are now a disappointment. A problem for someone with a big smile.Potential pain and the financial expense not something I was looking forward to but it had to be done. I would smile normally again.Dr Vigna is very professional.What does this actually mean?Aside from the fact that he has Oral and Maxillofacial training, can deal with bone atrophy and much more, what stood out was his passion for detail.We met at least 4x to review my mouth. He showed me exactly where and how the posts would be angled.In addition, we talked about a backup plan. Ready for anything during surgery.As well he made me laugh by telling a story about his wife's response to his penchant for planning. His goal was to see my gum line with a real smile.It was a lovely human moment.Dr Vigna’s demeanor is professional, almost formal, but I remember the moments we talked abt colored glasses and socks, all signs of his penchant for detail.It's who he is... professional but through that coolness he is passionate about helping his patients.I felt safe and excited to get my new mouth. Bonus: I would have same day implants.During this time, I was told maybe I had cancer. I did not feel bad. I was active and looked healthy.As it turned out Feb 9, 2023, after many, many months, our medical system finally got their positive result. Stage 3 to 4 pancreatic cancer and hope only to extend my life.Sunnybrook, in a 2nd opinion conference call, told me the same without knowing about result of Feb 9 surgery and waiting for a positive result like Jurvanski did. I had the 3 markers. A positive result was not necessary for Sunnybrook.During the medical systems waffling, maybe I had cancer, I delayed telling Dr Vigna. I really wanted a new mouth.Finally, after many months and now with a daunting diagnosis I shared the news.I hoped to get some of my deposit back.The reply I received was overwhelming. It still brings me to tears.Dr Vigna gave me back almost a full refund.This very professional man has a hidden heart of gold.... he was not concerned about his pocketbook but about his patient.A final note. Our accountant had a client with dental implants and connected me. Mary told me she and her brother had full mouth dental implants and they were over the moon. She said she wished she should done it earlier.Asked who the surgeon was. It was Dr Vigna.At this moment I am on murderous chemo 9 and have not died yet. I intend to beat the odds. I am fighting to live.I still hope for Dr Vigna to give me back my big smile!!!

Would do a negative 5 if possible. Our daughter had an asthma attack which they ignored at first and then they covered it up not saying a word when they brought her back to my husband. She also got permanent nerve damage and other problems… stay away

Vigna was recommended to me as a good surgeon for people with anxiety issues. I referred an older, nervous client to him who was rudely informed that he doesn’t take ODSP. There are 3 dental surgeons in Niagara. I’m tired of medical professionals violating ethics and human rights. The only way they will listen is if their wallet is impacted by their “preferred” clients. Now, I always say I’m looking for a doctor/dentist for an ODSP client and if they say no, I hang up. If you display open hatred toward the most vulnerable people in our society may God help your soul.

I have anxiety, from start to finish Dr. Vigna and his office had me feeling like I was cared for, listened to and in control. The confidence (not arrogance) displayed from every person I had contact with made me feel I was absolutely going to be taken care of. Dr. Vigna made every effort to create an atmosphere where his surgery would be successful and my experience would be comfortable. I thank you all very much!
