December 8, 2021Incredibly beautiful piece of architecture on the Danforth. I was awed by it when I was a child in the early 1960's and am equally awed by it now that I am in my mid-60's!

Holy Name Parish
I visited from out of town and attended the African mass here with my husband and girls, it was a beautiful experience. The Deacon, Servers and congregation are lovely and welcoming and the Choir and acoustics were outstanding. Didn't realize most of the Mass was going to be in French as only our one child is fluent. That aside, we enjoyed it very much. MARCH 2023

Warm, friendly people. Their music is heavenly. If you are looking for something unique, attend the 12:00 noon African Mass. It's awesome.

Holy Name Parish
Holy Name church has a beautiful architecture, solemn yet celebratory interior, and great community spirit.What I like most about this church though is they do stuff like inviting an indigenous elder to do a smudging ceremony to help make us more aware about the needs on truth and reconciliation, or calling for specific support to help specific refugee families who just moved into the neighborhood. I love churches that prod their parishioners to make real what is preached and prayed and publicly proclaimed.

We have donated thousands of dollars to this church and when our family is in desperate need for help at Christmas we are turned away and told that there is nothing that we can do". Not christian whatsoever. Total joke. I'm raising awareness to this online. Going to bring media into it."

We attended Sunday Mass on March 5th and felt just wonderful and part of your congregation. The choir is amazing. The Church is beautiful. Felt very much at peace there. Thank you.
