It's unfortunate when greed comes before professionalism. I hired this guy to do a job. He gave me his price without negotiating I agreed. He came to install the pool which comes with an inground pump, once on site he advised not doing it as it's a heck of a job and not necessarily a must (his words) and I can easily buy a manual one at Candadian tire in winter season to empty the the pool and I said ok. He then proceed to his work , he realizes he doesn't have battery to put on his drill as the ones he brought have died, so I gave him some good quality ones that I had and was expecting them back and he didn'tgive them back. Anyway, as he continue with his work, he said I can't install your skimmer because it's broken and its better that you replace it. I said sounds good will do that. So I went purchase another one and I texted him saying when he is available to put it up. He said it will be an extra $150 for something that may take him 5-10 mins to do.I said why? Normally contractors will do it if it was parts of the job, he went on to say that I leave too far when his website stated his office is only minutes away from my address.He swears every second and smoked the entire process , I had to keep my kid inside for the whole process.It's very sad how people are this days. I even said would you take $100 and he ghosted me. Yet, I am still without the skimmers since other people won't do it or charge crazy because it wasn't them that did the work. NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

We can't thank Ian enough for coming through for us this summer. Our 4yr old above ground pool, installed by a reputable brick and morter, collapsed due to shotty install by the installers they contracted out to. This time around we went with a semi-inground, installed on ground, and sought out Ian for his expertise and are so glad we did. Super professional job. Due to the pandemic and record pool sales in Ontario, Ian and others have been booked solid. We booked in March and were installed in early August. He delivered by when he initially quoted back in March and was polite while we couldn't control ourselves and would often ask are we there yet???? Can we get it ahead of schedule"."

I had Ian come inspect our above ground pool where the liner was coming down in one part due to ground shift and winter frost. He was very responsive and quick to come offer a solution and fix it! We have been doing business with Ian for many years and we highly recommend him for your pool needs!

Just had Ian and team of Perma Pools install a new pool after our old one tore the liner and had a hole in the side. He was quick, courteous, and well prepared. We expected to be waiting months but we were waiting like month and that was at the beginning of summer. We are very happy with the new pool and can't wait to get in it. We would absolutely use their services again and would recommend them to anyone.
