Ripples Estate Winery & New Wave Distilling

I recently visited Ripples with high hopes of enjoying a delightful experience with my girlfriends. However, our visit was marred by off putting racial encounters that left me deeply disappointed and hurt.From the moment we entered the winery, there was an uncomfortable atmosphere. The staff kept mispronouncing my name despite my initial prononciation at check-in. Food arrived pass the hour, and when we requested our umbrella to be closed, we were told that it was broken, so we were moved to a different table. Then when a white family was seated where we initially were, the umbrella was closed without any hesitation.While other patrons received warm welcomes and friendly conversations, we were met with coldness and indifference. The lack of interest in ensuring we had a pleasant experience was disheartening.I would strongly advise against visiting the winery until staff are properly trained to be accommodating to all patrons, including people of colour.

I have been a long time customer and have always had great experiences. I was particularly excited for the new food menu which turned out to be fantastic. The buddha bowl was hearty, fresh and delicious. I recommend along with some of their new signature cocktails!

What a hidden gem. I visited Saturday night for a tasting and to visit the cocktail lounge. I was absolutely blown away by everything about the winery. First - the wine. Delicious, smooth, and excellent quality Fraser Valley and Okanagan wine. I really enjoyed the Cab Franc and Lady" red blend. Then - the spirits. Trying vodka made from blueberries was a first for me

Definitely not just wine, really enjoyed the signature most popular blueberry gin tonic and also a mojito drink, with a bite to eat. Thank you very much to the owner for also dropping by to greet us, nice personal touch.

DOG FRIENDLY!!!!!!!AND….a breathtaking patio. We felt like we were on vacation somewhere. The cocktails are well thought out and so flavourful.We had great food and spoke to other guests around us who loved it too. We usually head to Whistler with friends but this place having a patio that is family friendly, dog friendly, and so enjoyable we will be coming back many times!

Beautiful location, very pleasant staff. Food and wine delicious. Highly recommend!

The winery has a beautiful setting and a great bar. The food and service are very good.

We had fantastic time. Service was excellent especially our server Malaya. Such a sweet girl. She is going into her second year of nursing. Being a retired RN myself I gave her a few tips to help her along her journey. We tasted 4 different wines and had the charcuterie board.....Delicious!! We loved it so much and had such a great time We would do it again. I give Ripples a 5 star plus!

If we could give 10 stars we would!!! What an amazing gem! The atmosphere was next level, the drinks were delicious and so different than anywhere else. The staff made you feel at home and made us feel so welcome! We will be back but next time with much more friends and family ! Make a reservation it’s so worth it !
