We had a premature baby and had some questions about breastfeeding, and she gave us really great advice and guidance.After our baby contracted RSV at 4 months and was having trouble breastfeeding, Nichole came over and helped us through it. She's a life-saver! I'm certain my baby would have stopped breastfeeding altogether if it weren't for Nichole's help.

Nichole came recommended by our doulas @ Balancing Birth to Baby after our newborn had jaundice and was refusing feeds after latching well at the hospital. As new parents we were scared for our little one's wellbeing and were feeling overwhelmed. Nichole to the rescue! Not only did she provide dozens of tips on latching, positioning, and paced feeding, but she did it all while being warm, friendly, and extremely professional. Nichole was easy to communicate with via email and text, and the home visit allowed us to be relaxed and in a familiar environment. I'd highly suggest your partner take notes & videos during your appointment to refer back to later. I can confidently say that the money spent on Nichole's services is the best $ spent so far on our little girl :) And it was covered by my benefits!

Nichole was absolutely amazing! She provided the hands-on learning we needed. We were having some latching issues and literally after having Nichole over for a few hours we had an amazing latcher. She was so calm and provided us the knowledge and skills we were lacking as first-time parents. Having someone in-person to talk through questions was so much more valuable than anything you read online. Nichole not only went through breastfeeding but healthy sleep and overall newborn signs. Her knowledge is amazing and we are so grateful to have her expertise! Nichole followed-up with us the days after her visit, keeping in contact to ensure we felt supported. We used Nichole’s lactation consulting services following the arrival of our son in April 2023. It was a wonderful experience that ultimately saved our breastfeeding journey. We found out at an early appointment with our GP that our little guy wasn’t gaining enough weight, so I messaged Nichole in a panic. She was very reassuring and scheduled an appointment to visit our home the following day. Nichole checked out our son, asked a series of questions and then observed and provided helpful feedback as we completed a weighted feed. Following this we came up with a plan to for the following days to breastfeed, pump, and bottle feed to top up with either expressed milk and/or formula. Nichole then worked with us for the following few weeks as we continued to troubleshoot and see a lactation doctor (at her recommendation). I am happy to say that we have been exclusively breastfeeding for over a month. Nichole is very knowledgeable, supportive and nurturing at a time that new parents are feeling vulnerable. Nichole genuinely cares about the success of her clients and has very reasonable fees (and will work with you to get coverage by your insurance provider). We would definitely recommend Nichole to any new breast/chest feeding parents.

Nichole gave us a great service. The in-home care really made the difference for me and my daughter. Going to an office of a different lactation consultant was putting us in an unnatural breastfeeding setting. It was uncomfortable and forced.Being at home allowed Nichole to see how we work naturally in our own time frame and she was able to come to us when my daughter was ready to feed. Working with Nichole was an absolute game changer! I had a really difficult start to breastfeeding, from low milk supply to severe pain. Nichole not only came to our house to optimize our feeding area, but also looked at our situation holistically and provided recommendations that suited us. I can honestly say that if it wasn’t for Nichole, I would’ve given up on breastfeeding weeks ago but instead, can now say that we’ve been happily breastfeeding exclusively. 10/10 would recommend Nichole’s services!
