Toronto United Football Club

Our journey with TUFC started when we were trying to find a club for our (then) 7 year old son that had excellent coaching, other highly skilled players in his age group he could play and learn with, and an emphasis on developing the player both on and off the field (high value on sportsmanship, respect, kindness and personal character). Birthed out of the closing of FC Barcelona's Academy (the Canadian implementing partner folded during the pandemic) as a way to keep the close knit community of players and families together when this happened; we are so thankful that our son, who loves soccer passionately, has found an environment where he can live out his passion, develop as a player & person, and where he is thriving under their coaching and development. For us, it is worth every bit of the ~1 hour commute. And it truly is just incredible to watch very young players play such a beautiful tiki-taka style of soccer.

TUFC soccer school is tops in training, progressive, they make every effort in making all participants feel welcomed, valued, and teach respect to one another. We have registered two of our children here and they have grown so much in skill and soccer team strategy. We go out of our way being on the other side of the city from where we live to have our kids attend, and there are many like us who do make that effort. Our kids love it and don't want to miss a class which are all 90 minutes minimum 3 times per week plus games which makes the cost absolutely worth it. Most other clubs only do 60 minutes twice a week which is not enough to succeed, so if you are serious about soccer, want your kids to advance, learn the right way first, to be a team player, this school is for you!

An attractive possession based game model that truly helps young players think and act faster on the pitch. A club that not only lives its core values throughout the organization, but also puts into action initiatives to help kids & their families enjoy the beautiful game in an inclusive environment.

Great coaching. Coach Reme is simply the best. He is the reason we switched to TUFC and I am very glad we did so. My son who has always been a technical player is improving his tactical skills as well and is on the right path to become a better player. Highly recommend this club and coach Reme.

Great academy for kids to learn the game of football. It has been a great experience to be a part of an academy that treats its patrons as family and strives to build a real family community as well as focus on and commit to player development. All of the coaches treat the kids like their own and strive to bring out the best in them by continuously challenging them during training and gameplay. Coach Reme is an amazing coach. Not only is he knowledgeable and able to communicate with the youth, but he also motivates and inspires while being patient and accepting of all of his team members. Highly recommend.

Toronto United FC is a great football club. My boys have been with the club for the last year. They have developed their understanding of the game and improved their skills more in this year than the four years they were with their previous club. Coaching staff is amazing! They care about the kids and their improvement on and off the pitch. We would highly recommend the club to any family in which their child / children want to develop their skills in soccer while having lots of fun and building great friendships.

After trying 2 soccer clubs for kids, coming to TUFC was a big change. Very professional. Their focus is on learning actual core soccer skills with team building along with scoring goals. Kids love this club. Thank you Coaches!

My son was at a very well known academy in Toronto, but unfortunately wasn’t developing to his potential. We searched around for a new home and since joining Toronto United FC, he learns and develops at each and every practice and his growth has been tremendous. The coaches truly care about our kids and we couldn’t be happier to be part of such an incredible family at TUFC. I’ll add that the club is very well run in that they’re organized and the communication with the parents is top notch!
