Bowen’s Appliances repair service

We've had several dealings with Bowen's- all of them fabulous. They came to repair an aging gas dryer and diagnosed the problem immediately. Friendly and courteous with more than fair prices. Most recently I purchased a replacement element for my oven. It was in stock and put aside for me. Expert advice from the ladies had me installing the element and baking that same afternoon! Yay Bowen's!

No mention or details of a service call fee when we called them for an appointment to look at our Washer. Repair was going to be more then the repair of a new washing machine / the one they were going to fix.(Which they didn't tell us.)Service fee only came up after they didn't get the work and it was more expensive then competitors we looked at.

Mike has been out to my place in the country at least twice before today to fix my oven that had a faulty element, no fault of his.I can't recommend this company highly enough. I am in my 50's, grew up with a father who was a licensed electrician {could do some plumbing, carpentry} and know how companies of all sorts try to rip you off, this is NOT 1 of those.This business is a highly reputable one and I will ONLY call them any time I need any appliance repaired.

Very disappointed with whoever I spoke to on the phone who accused ME OF NOT LISTENING TO HER, when I was explaining a chemical smell coming from my fridge. She told me something had spilled! Turned out a refrigerant LEAK - very dangerous to one’s health!

If every business in this city was as efficient and prompt as this company, it would be a bonus. This company has been to my home two times to do repairs and they walk in the door, go to work immediately, are friendly, are knowledgeable and have a diagnosis done quickly. Fabulous experience dealing with Bowans staff on the phone at their office as well as the man who came to our condo! A couple of our neighborshighly recommended them and we are also so pleased with them. So happy they are certified with whirlpool and we could actually specifically ask whirlpool for our warranty issues to be covered by this fabulous local company! My phone call was pleasant in booking my appointmentThe Service technician was professional, efficient, and transparent on what he was doing every step of the way.Payment was easy using a e-transfer online banking.So so pleased to have our dryer working again for this family of 6!

We called Bowen's to repair our gas dryer which is (we think) more than 20 years old. They came promptly and fixed it in the most economical way possible. The technician was friendly and nice to our dogs. We try to fix things instead of replacing them whenever possible. Our dryer now runs like new, we saved a ton of money and we are very happy with the service.
