I bought the glueless spray & it was the best purchase ever! It is a true lifesaver & game changer ladies. I had been looking for years for a glue that will dry clear & not leave any white residue. The glueless spray leaves no residue & dries clear! It is also very easy to use and extremely beginner friendly.

I have been a Dark Shugar Customer for 5+ years . The studio is easy to find , very clean and appealing. I got my makeup done by Ramona who is a MUA at the studio, gave her my ideas and she exceeded my expectations. She pays attention to detail and takes her time to achieve the look you’re looking for, whether it’s Soft Glam or Full Glam. She will also genuinely make sure you’re 100% satisfied before walking out the door. I had amazing compliments on my look — very well job done!! I cannot wait until our next appointment together, Thanks Ramona !

Suzanna I believe did my hair. I came in at 2:30 and she squeezed me in and stayed until 930 to make sure my hairwas done beautifully. She is such a fast and precise braider and such a sweet lady. The owner was nice too. Despite me not having an appointment, they were able to squeeze me in. My hair was a mess when I was walked in but you couldn’t even talk to me when I left because I was so arrogantly foine. Support black businesses and get treated exceptionally for a fair price

The staff were very friendly, informative and the atmosphere was very relaxed and welcoming. Esther did my knotless braids and they're the best braids I've had in my life. I'm 32 now and I've been getting braids done since my early teens. Looking forward to going back to Dark Shugar very soon. As a woman with afro-texture hair, there are not many reliable salons in Winnipeg that cater to my hair type. I've been turned away at salons before so I'm happy to have found this gem of a salon in Winnipeg where I can feel comfortable and confident that they will properly care for my hair.

I had a wonderful experience. She and her staff were accommodating and helpful. They will take care of you. Plus, their products are amazing! I am so thankful. I'm from northwestern Ontario, and will travel to her studio to get my hair done. I can recommend this establishment to any woman/man. Very happy!
