I asked to have my carburetors link and synced and possibly rebuilt check timing and all the related items i get a call and he tells me that it runs great but we need to seal up the lower unit. I said well did you put it in gear wide open and see what it does. His response was no i can't do that dont have a dyno . I never said look at the lower unit so he charged me 150 bucks for 2 hours labor to pull out my gear oil which is just a flathead screw...

I had a bad rivet on my aluminum boat. They took a look at it and said yes we can replace that and I figured I’d have to leave it for a week or longer. But they had me pull around the side door. They drilled it out put some sealant in the area and put a new rivet in and I could drive home, which was an hour. WaterWater test of it and area no longer leaks.

Mike's Marine is a very knowledgeable source for fixing and ordering parts for a variety of boat manufacturers. He knew exactly what to to do with my old omc carb and had it set perfectly! My boat never ran as good as it does now!Just an add on. I call my boat the wreck of the Ashley-Michael! Dry dock for 15 years and of coarse it would cost a fortune to pay for it to be redone. I like tooling myself and bought alot of parts through this shop. The knowledge of mikes marine is bar none. Its like a walking shop manual. Anything i couldn't handle i had them repair. I have had bad experiences in the past with winterizing but had them do it. This year of 2020 was a fast cold snap and had to get it done. Even though I thoroughly check my boat out religiously in detail, he found a hose ruptured and repaired it. Now of course the cost of winterizing went up but it was a far cry from an engine replacement! This makes me further impressed with the thoroughly performed mechanics at this shop! When witer is done i will feel at ease crusin the lake!

Brought my johnson 9.5 hp 1967 outboard for repair no spark . Mike had my motor for 13 weeks in that time I called 3 times to check on my motor and recived 3 different story's as to problem. At week 12 I went to get my motor spoke to Mike and even helped him work the motor I told him I would give him one more week to fix motor week 13 I picked up my motor and recived a bill for 287 and 45 cents . THE MOTOR STILL HAS NO SPARK . Now if you are goi g to charge me 287 and 45cents for not fixing it what would it have cost if you had fixed it and no I would not recommend this business thank you Tim schaeppi

He fixed my Troybuilt riding lawnmower..it had a factory oversight which it caused it to smoke as soon as it started. He picked it up and brought it back as well. Very friendly people there..I will be taking all my in-need items to them from now on..my whole family will be!! Very reasonable price too. GREAT place..

Very prompt, snowblower stopped working this AM, picked up snowblower free of charge, fixed and returned within a 3hr timeframe. Will definitely use again.

Brought my boat in to get it winterized and asked to have the wheel bearings greased. Didn’t receive a phone call stating that my boat was finished. Called to check on it and mike said it was done. Went in to pick it up and was informed that my 2 year old boats wheel bearings were shot and they replaced them without consent to do so not to mention I’ve never noticed anything wrong with them, never ever got hot or made any noises. A simple phone call would’ve been nice. Got handed a $500 bill when I was expecting $130. Super disappointed.
