Lefebvre Dustless Floor Sanding

We had kept Lefebvre's card from 6 years ago when we were considering redoing our beech wood floors. We never went ahead with that job, and ended up selling that house in March 2015. The new home we bought had prefinished 3/4 solid oak floors done with 2 1/2" planks. They were very dark brown with a high gloss finish. They had to go!!So we contacted Ed Lefebvre again and hired him to do the job. The floors turned out beautiful. They were sanded down to bare wood

We had Ed assess the floor in a 13’x11” bedroom of our 1940’s home and was told the wood floor still had sanding layers to work with… which was not the case at all. After paying $1800 for a small patch job and sanding the floor in the room, the wood floor became very soft and easily dings and scratches, the wood planks are separating and gaps are very visible. We asked why the gaps, we were told that that happens with temper changes but the gaps in between the planks are full of wood stain and they are permanent, year round.

Built in 1940's with oak floors on the main floor and carpets in the main floor bedrooms. One day I grabbed a corner of the bedroom carpet and tore it up to see what was underneath.. I saw wood. But didn't know if it would/could look like the already finished floors in living area. I took the risk and tore it all out.. what I saw was some very old oak floors that might look like the rest of the house???? Well, I called Rita/Ed as they were recommended by a guy I know in the carpet business. Ed came over and gave me a quote for the work.. it was about the same as if we were to replace the carpets. Well.. when he was done, the floors look AMAZING! And now I want to have the rest of the main floor redone (don't have a clue when they were completed).Now, as for the dustless.. I'm sure you are like me.. sceptical of how dustless dustless really is. What can I say.. it's dustless!!!! We left my wife's clothes in the closet for crying out loud and there's NO dust on them.I can't recommend Lefebvre enough!
