I am updating my review to reflect my recent experiance. With COVID and staff shortages, the wait time for review of applications was unusually long. Once the staff are working on your file, they are helpfull. The loan process is very rigid but can be navigated. It took a few months, you have be be patient and able to provide required info, but eventually they were able to help with an equipment loan to expand my business.

There is absolutely nothing positive that I can say about Apeetogosan and it’s staff. I have attempted several times to apply for grants to help start and later grow my business. each attempt met with nothing but road blocks, excuses and complete lack of support. My most recent attempt a staff member told me that maybe “I should try welding” and that “they like funding welding businesses”Best of luck if you try to access grants or funding this inept organization. If your a Métis or aboriginal business try ATB. You might actually have a shot at getting startup capital.
