Love Fran's in Toronto - this one is inconsistent - however over 4 visits - I had one excellent experience, 1 ok experience and 2 bad experiences. Won't go back.

Great service, friendly staff, comfortable atmosphere. Can't really ask for much more. No better place to grab a bite and feel satisfied on all accounts!

Great eggs Benedict!Frans also has a vegetarian and salmon Benedict which are equally enjoyable.Fairly priced.Would eat here again.

Service was fine. Food was tasty and nicely made. Decent prices. They make a pretty mean Monte Cristo.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!! How do I give this place ZERO stars?!? This place is terrible!! It was only good when it first opened years ago. But now, as time passes the building itself seems run-down and interior is lacklustre. The staff look tired and miserable, something out of a trucker-stop diner. The place could really use a fresh coat of paint and a few more working light bulbs to say the least. But that's not even the worst part. My last and final visit to this restaurant, I ordered a cheeseburger and fries. When the waitress served my food, I noticed the bun was covered with blue mould spots on the bottom of the burger. Thoroughly disgusted, I returned the food immediately. The waitress apologized, and offered to have the meal made again, and I might have considered it if she offered it at no cost to me. But no offer was made. I declined and left the restaurant and NEVER to return. FYI, you can get a more reliable experience and fresher made meal at the Swiss Chalet just down the street!
