Stay away from the 'New York Collection'. High price, cheap product. Never again!

Awesome selection, really cool furniture. The styles are unique, and the umbrellas are huge! Very pricey, though.

We had an amazing experience at DOT in Newmarket. Huge shout out to Susanna and her team for customer service way beyond expectations. She helped us to secure a sold-out 10' black parasol to bring shade to our backyard. Every single staff person we dealt with was excellent - we are highly impressed and will definitely be recommending DOT and shopping there again! Thank you so much! We LOVE our new parasol!

We ordered a square parasol with granite base and had it delivered as we live 45 minutes away. While assembling it we found that the solar panel would not lock into place as it was too small. We were at the store the following week to pick up other items and explained the problem. They treated us as if we were complete idiots and didn't understand the concept of how to turn a screw. They said they would order another solar panel which we had to pick up the next week. When we brought it home, it was the exact same problem. I called and spoke with an associate who took my information and said she would leave a note for manager to get back to me. 2 weeks later I had heard nothing so I called and left a voicemail. Another week goes by and still nothing. When I called today I spoke to Susanna (manager) and had to explain everything again. She said when I was ready to surrender" the parasol to bring it in for them to look at. I told her that I didn't live close which is why I had it delivered but she didn't seem to care and said I had to bring it in. Once I did that

We had a terrible experience with DOT Patio Newmarket & Corporate. We bought a table from this Newmarket store in May 2022 for our backyard which we were having landscaped. We left it in the box unopened as there were several delays to the completion of the backyard. Once the landscaping was done, we opened up the table, still in the original box, untouched, only to find several scratches & chips of paint that had come off. The table had a full year warranty on the finish of the table. We had never used it, and DOT Newmarket & Corporate refused to replace the table, offering only touch up paint and a miniscule 5% refund. Not only that, but the process to even get an answer from Corporate took months and several attempts.We will never shop at any DOT store ever again, we had much better experiences with their competitors with other outdoor furniture, who also had much better prices.Do your homework, go somewhere else. DOT Newmarket & Corporate do NOT stand behind their products, nor do they give good customer service. Would have given zero stars if possible.

Nice staff but they don't make any warranty decisions!They only expect their outdoor furniture to last 3-5 summers.$2500. In outdoor furniture unravelled in 2 summers.Jena Niceforo, Sales Manager and daughter of the Owner would not call the customer but easily said NO in an email....they will not honour the warranty. Do Not Buy from DOT. You will regret it!!

DOT in Newmarket is a fabulous store! I have dealt with the manager, Maria, on a few occasions now and she is a gem! She is extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. We dealt with her last year as well and she was just as helpful, even though she knew we weren’t planning to purchase at that time. That’s why we returned when it was time to buy. Maria is also extremely patient with customers like me who have a million questions and get anxiety every time I spend money! Beware, however...they have such nice things that you could find your wallet lighter than you expected it to be!

Suzanne and Leo were so helpful and patient. Will definitely return to see them and up date my patio at the same time.

Buyer Beware – Overpriced Garbage.In 2021 we purchased an outdoor sectional (Woodstock Sectional Set). Though very expensive, we bought into the false narrative that although DOT furniture is really pricy, you get what you pay for and it’s built to last.It’s not.We first put the sectional outside in June of 2021. It was under a gazebo, and covered when not in use for any extended period (the cover to protect the sectional was an additional purchase btw). In October we brought all of the cushions indoors for the winter. The zippers broke on two of the cushions, but we figured it wasn’t worth the effort to try and have them replaced as the zippers would be hidden anyways.We brought everything back outside in May of 2022, and in October when we were prepping our yard for winter we unzipped all of the cushions to wash the covers and the insides on all but two of the cushions had completely broke down and the liners had completely disintegrated.We contacted DOT head office, and cc’d the Newmarket store on all correspondence. Though head office initially seemed like they were going to do something about it, they turned around and claimed that there was nothing that they would do as the cushions are only warrantied for 1 year.We contacted head office again and asked for the exact dimensions of the cushions so that we could look into replacement options, or if they offered liners that were a different material that actually lasted, and they never responded. Worth noting that it was crickets the Newmarket store through all of this. They clearly had zero interest in getting involved and making sure we were at least somewhat taken care of.It’s worth noting that a 1-year warranty for something like this is the company admitting that their product will likely be delivered in one piece/working condition, but they know that it will fail very quickly after that, and they will lose money if they guarantee that their product will last much beyond initial use. For a sectional valued at over $5,000 this is pathetic.Please don’t make the same mistake we did. Be very aware of the warranty offered, don’t assume that because it is expensive it will be well made and worth the money. If it’s from DOT furniture it won’t be.Don’t waste your money. Buy elsewhere.
