Great home made food. Those who crave Eastern European dishes are for a treat. Soups are like my mother used to cook so every meal brings memories. Good selection of deserts. I order every week for my dad.

The food is good, very filling and healthy. The prices are a bit high for the portion size but I don’t mind since most of the dishes are made in-house from fresh ingredients. If you’ve never tried Eastern European food I recommend starting with desserts, they are delicious! Ladies working here are really sweet and will assist choosing the best dish.

Delicious cabbage roll, you can taste the freshness and that it was homemade. Comes with sour cream and a side too. Makes for a perfect lunch that will keep you just long enough til dinner.

Great quality, authentic Russian/ Eastern European food. I found both taste and value to be better than comparable Eastern European spots. Probably my favorite spot for tasty, homey comfort food. The two ladies were super patient and friendly and that definitely contributed to the great experience. They deserve to have their own stand alone restaurant. Will be coming back for sure!

Whenever I come here, I can always find a delicious snack or meal to munch on. I love fermented sour cabbage, buckwheat, and piroshki. Their combos have good deals with reasonable prices-great for students and seniors. Delightful European sweets - better priced than anywhere else. Made with love like at home. It is a great authentic spot in the heart of downtown.

This place serves delicious food and desserts, the owner/server is very friendly and hospitable. I had pelimeni, meet dumplings, absolute heaven!!! The honey cake, a thin layered cake, is a great treat but not to sweet.

Excellent food as always… feels like I am at my grandmas house for some food when I eat here… I’m disappointed they had to change their classic “Russian spoon” name to harbour spoon since some customers/outsiders pathetically harassed this poor establishment because of the political conflict happening in Russia… like how dense do you have to be to go out of your way to harass them because you got triggered over their name when they have zero affiliation to the war that is completely out of their control… shame… well anyways, I’ve been going here way back to their original location in New Westminster and I come to this location when I happen to be around Vancouver area. Ladies working here have a heart of gold and funny enough..all the bad reviews they get just come from people who don’t know how to first ask them if they have a problem… love you ladies!
