Filmberries (Film Studio For Kids)

The most amazing place for kids who want to learn filmmaking. Kate is an excellent teacher, with passion and dedication of a true professional. Will recommend a million times!

My daughter really enjoyed learning about animation creation and learned a lot! The teacher was Kate was very hands on and caring for each student. Each of the students got to tape their own animation and received a recording or their work!Thank you Filmberries!

Our son attended Flimberries for about two years while we lived in Toronto. We had just moved to Toronto when we found out about Filmberries. Aside from how well Kate teaches film, finding amazing talent in children and making award winning films, she has also made her studio more like a home for the kids. For our son, the Filmberries crew has become his home away from home. We have since moved away from Toronto, yet Filmberries, Kate, and the family are still deep in our hearts and we miss them very much. I obviously can't recommend Filmberries more to a parent who wants, for their children, a warm, loving place to learn lot and be really really creative.

My daughter Nicole loves classes and camps at Filmberries. The instructor is very knowledgeable and experienced, knows how to engage with kids and is a lot of fun. Highly recommended!

Great teacher, lots of fun for kids.

The best in-class media literacy workshop! Very creative, hands-on and educational. If I could have filmberries every day in my class, I would! It covers not just creative side of children development, but also writing, language, acting, voice, computer (editing) and even math (how many frames per second, how many seconds we need to have to get 1 min of short cartoon etc).My class was very pleased! The results are astonishing! If I wasn’t present during the workshop I would not believe kids created it. My class has many special needs students, so hats off to our wonderful film instructor!

What a fun birthday party! Kids who enjoy creating things will love this party activity. The teacher is really good at what she does.
