Very friendly and helpful service. It is so nice to be able to ask for help in a store and the response is friendly helpful advice. They have such a willingness to please their customers.

Bought a fan from disinterested staff. Limped home with it under my unbroken wing. Opened it up, the fan busted too. So I called and spoke to the manager. Bring it back she said". After explaining I was physically unable to pack it back again that (hot) day

The laid back neighborhood hardware experience.I like this place specifically for when I suddenly find myself needing the odd screws, fasteners, another extension cord, you name it. There's plenty to be had here if you're looking for small hand-tools and hardware. If you find yourself suddenly needing a new Robbie-bit because you don't have the right size, this neighborhood hardware store is the perfect place if you're in the area. It's smaller than the big hardware stores down the road and caters specifically to people who just need things like the stuff I'm talking about. They have kitchenware, gardening supplies and almost anything you can think of for a quick home repair.The staff here are friendly and mostly knowledgeable for the types of questions you'd have for that small home repair or home job you've gotta do.I'd rate this place higher if their hours weren't so odd. Last time I tried to swing by, they were closed at 5pm, on a Friday afternoon which is probably the usual time almost anyone would wanna stop by after they're finished work for the day. Never the less, maybe that was a scheduling thing and their hours have since changed again.

Great store.Staff ask for credit card used but this is not stated on the “ ready for collection “ email. Many like me for security may use a different card for online purchases and don’t carry it. It’s not added protection of customer just added hassle and not part of conditions of purchase.

I have always appreciated the location and convenience of this store. Recently, I've had a few issues 1) I purchased a small bag of indoor soil to replenish some plants for Spring and start seedlings, only to discover the (Miracle Grow) soil had gnats. I lost about eight seedlings and had to throw out a thirty year old schefflera plant 2) I was looking for plastic garden tags and when I asked if there were any in stock, was told to look in the garden area (I had just done that) and then told they had none. I suggested (not them), wooden sticks and was told to look in housewares. Nope, none there. I asked another employee where exactly they were in houseware and he asked if I had looked in the garden area! I wandered off to a dollar store and will likely drive to Rona for future items.

I called ahead to see if they an item that was out of stock in other stores - they had it and even held it at the cashier for me. So nice to be able to call and have a real human answer the phone and be so helpful.

The people who work here were overly helpful and made sure I had choices and proper gift receipts and all. They are fantastic to deal with.

Yes today I went to good old Pearson's Home Hardware! Today is a Thursday. Last Sunday the small, fifteen-inch florescent light over my sink burned out. I have easily found replacement bulbs for this fixture in the twenty years that I used the lamp.Today was the day when the bulb has been replaced.High snow was on the roadway when I parked. The sidewalk in front of Pearson's was wet and bare of any snow. The owner and his assistant were speaking as I went in. I held up the bulb and he led me to the rack of bulbs.A minute later he found a match for the thickness and wattage.This made my week! Great store, lots to see and nice, friendly management. Thank you!

This is a great store in the middle of the city. They have a great selection of products and polite and friendly smart staff to answer your question and help you find what you are looking for.
