I am here to express my frustration and disappointment with my recent experience at your store. I have contacted Best Buy twice via chat and once over the phone about returning phones that I had activated in-store. I needed to return the phones due to poor reception and asked to come back when the promotions for iPhones are better and to change carriers to Telus.Each representative verified with me that I would be able to return the phones and keep the promotional gift cards as they were used to purchase a speaker through Best Buy. I visited the Aurora, Ontario, Canada location, which I was told by Best Buy support I would be able to do the return at any Best Buy, but the manager informed me that the only place I could return the phones would be the Newmarket, Ontario, Canada location. I wasted gas money driving out there, and then I had to spend more to get to the Newmarket location.Upon visiting the Newmarket location, I was treated rudely, lied to, and refused service. I have never been spoken to in such a manner in my life. Having a manager, Jonathan, tell me I have a bad choice of word attitude" and that I was giving them a hard time after telling them I was told by Best Buy themselves and the CRTC that I would be able to keep the gift cards.The managers said the system would not allow them to do it and would manually punch in a gift card while I was trying to return it so they could charge me for it. We have purchased with Sandeep at Best Buy Newmarket twice so far. We are very satisfied with his professionalism and friendliness. One of the best salespeople we have ever met, he did a great job. Would highly recommend this location and Sandeep in the TV department.

I have to commend the guy at Best Buy Newmarket for his outstanding support in helping to fix my computer. I took it in after the Power Supply had failed and I had replaced it myself. I should have got his name but he was excellent in quickly identifying the issue and helping to resole the probem. I was very impressed with the service.

I purchased a TV and Laptop from this location, Khadija was assisting me. She has really good knowledge of the products, she is very polite and humble. She listened to me properly and then sold me the products according to my requirements. If you visit this store, make sure to ask for Khadija. She's an absolute gem.

I'm disappointed and embarrassed about how my partner was treated at the Best Buy store in Newmarket, Ontario. We were promised an easy return by phone, but the representatives at the store were aggressive right off the bat and didn't seem to understand that we had already spoken to BEST BUYS customer support team (multiple times) before coming to store. Jonthan made it VERY clear he does not know the laws and regulations behind returns, which is sad for a manager to admit he is incompetent. I do have to laugh because of how terrible Jonthan was at lying to our face, there was one point where he started to make up return policies by reading off a sheet. Unbelievable service in every aspect, went for pick up, vehicle couldn’t start, manager noticed what was happening and in a few minutes she had part of her team jumpstart and loaded my pickup. Thanks guys

Had a great experience yesterday all because of Emily who works in the camera department.I wanted to download my holiday pictures from my Sony camera. The app had been updated by Sony & I couldn’t figure it out.Emily stayed with me until it got done. She was patient with me & kind- knowing my photos meant a lot. Thanks so much Emily!

I am delighted to have Hayley assisted me in TV section of Best Buy Newmarket store. She is super responsive and friendly.I was subsequently referred to DJ of the Geek Squad who is also very smart and knows the technical issues inside out outside in. A very professional expert.Not the least, JJ of the store is also very helpful.I then met Ryan Stuart, the store leader. After meeting Ryan Stuart, I can understand why everyone in the store are that nice and responsive. Ryan Stuart is very enthusiastic in greeting customers and take every initiative to offer assistance. If I met Ryan Stuart and his team earlier, I will never go to another retailer!
