I'm an ecologist, a humanist, I love nature and I've been in contact with them and they are very nice and smart people!

I'm really grateful the Greens are focused on the real struggles of the average Ontarian. I myself choose to be a member of the Green Party because I believe in your values and ethics!The plan you have in place is great. I'm certain you've turned your mind to these next points. It is important to legislate to avoid loopholes, like persons putting properties in the names of different family members like spouses and children to circumvent the tax.It's also important to legislate to prevent landlords from passing the cost of the tax to their tenants (which would inflate rental rates even higher)!Thank you for all your good work!!Original: Right now High Income Ontarians are investing in real estate and using Low Income Ontarians to pay their mortgages through disproportionately high rent.Please legislate to stop this unethical practice (a situation that pushes the working poor out of the real estate and rental markets).Rent for a 1 bedroom is close to $2,000/month (once utilities and parking are added). Full time minimum wage is under $2,000/month (once deductions are taken into account). Hard working Ontarians are forced into debt and poverty under the current system.Alternatively, please tax unethical investors and use the revenue for geared to income housing builds, so that people don't have to live in homeless shelters, group homes or sandwiched in an unethical investor's rental property (situations that contributed to Covid19 spread).

I was there about 20 years ago, it was beautiful, had a great time there would love to go back, but with this virus who knows if it will open again ..Hope so..
