Good Foods | Weekends Restaurant & Lounge Salmon Arm | Weekends Restaurant was founded by Michael & Jenny, proprietors of Hanoi 36. With hopes of bringing a new dining experience to Salmon Arm and surrounding areas. Izakaya style or Tapas, whichever you like to call it, good foods & good drinks awaits. Great new spot downtown. Owners and staff are friendly and gracious. Delicious, creative cocktails, decent wine selection and great food. We love the fried chicken, edamame, and steak tips.

We may have over ordered but every single thing on the short menu looked so appealing. We opened with the Edamame - perfection. We moved to steak poutine. Crazy good (in fact it’s a very messy photo because we dove in before I got a good photo) and then the roll. What can I say about the roll? It was epic! I wasn’t sure what to expect but it certainly wasn’t this crusty bead outside soft warm chewy deliciousness inside that we got. We had to take one home and we were sharing. We topped over with an order plain fries just to see - fabulous. Beers and a few new wine options and a huge new mural round out this new treat in downton Salmon Arm.

Great little place, I tried the fried chicken which is outstanding. A little on the pricier side for sure, but enjoyable once in a while.

We stopped in for lunch today. The staff were amazing and patient explaining the dishes. The flavours were so incredibly delicious and all of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals.

I thoroughly enjoyed Weekends. A tasteful and contained cocktail list with unique options to choose from and staff that can make you any classic drink you ask for. Granted it was not busy while I was here but the service knew when to ask if I needed anything and they did not hover. I ordered the kimchi udon as my meal; robust flavors and a spectacular presentation. All around, a great spot to stop in when you're downtown

Classy place for great food and cocktails. Fun place to take visiting friends.Always get the Flat Iron Steak for dinner; Phili Steak for lunch. For a fun experience the Korean BBQ is amazeballs. Fun dishes with poutine and deep fried chicken.

If you haven't been here and you live in Salmon Arm. You need to stop what you're doing. Don't ask a significant other. Just take them here. It is a small but amazing eating experience. I have lived in Salmon Arm for 10 yeard now and cannot say I have ever had an eating experience. But there needs to be more knowledge of this place. Its a small establishment I have apparently walked past many times on Alexander ST. But I urge you to come here.

Best place in town to eat and go for a drink, or catch up. Has a great vibe that works for any age or reason. Good for a date or girls to hang out, young or old.The bartender is super knowledgeable and the bathrooms are clean.

So finally went and tried it here. Friend made a reservation for 6, lets start off with the drinks- very well made but the lime margarita is not worth $13 being that small with that much ice and other drinks ok -Pricey for what you get, would have had more if they weren't so expensive. 3 out of 5. Food was really good, it is a very pricey for what you get but is fancy- 2 out of 5 for cost but 5/5 for taste and presentation. Now the service, took 15-20 min before ask about drinks, only one water brought and when asked for more none came, the part that really frustrated me was the gratuity automatically added for 6 or more even when asked for separate bills and it was not highlighted or mentioned when the bill was giving, all of us husbands look at the bottom total and paid plus adding ANOTHER 15-20% tip not happy about this at all especially when my bill was $110 for 2 people , - Service 2.5/3 out of 5. yes I should look more careful but fully disagree with the automatic gratuities. Yes probably one and done with this place as I don't think it worth spending that much money for the experience and what you get.
