City of Regina | Arenas & Outdoor Skating Rinks | The City maintains and operates eight indoor arenas, over 50 outdoor skating rinks and six shinny sites. Arenas are open for public skating from September to March. The outdoor ice season is weather dependant. Outdoor skating rinks typically operate from mid-December to mid-February.

It is clean and cozy ice arena. The arena is well maintained and staffs are very friendly. Public skating on every mondays in winter. The public skating on Mondays are not very crowded hence the ice rink is smooth. Restrooms are modern and clean. Unfortunately, no free public WiFi. If you are a sakte client, you might able to get the free Wi-Fi from sakte in the arena. It is a great place for free form skating on Mondays.

The Hamilton is an older, colder rink with a smaller closet type dressing room....but it does trick and gives the kids a space to play. There is both indoor (heated) and outdoor (rink side) seating and the echoing sound of over passionate parents can be heard across the facility as their voices boom out commands, criticism and cheers.

For an old barn, this is a good ice surface and possibly the cleanest rink in the city. Too bad there is still wire behind the net at the far end.

This is an excellent facility for U-9 and under aged kids playing half-ice. However Regina Minor hockey thought this facility was appropriate for hosting an U-15AA playoff game in 2022. The mesh above the boards and lack of glass along the bench side is an unacceptable safety cocern. Square corners are one of a kind. If Regina only had a multiplex facility to use!!!!!
