Candlewood Suites West Edmonton - Mall Area, an IHG Hotel
Stayed here for 2 weeks while I was going through radiation treatment and I found it very comfortable...staff was helping and considerate. Rooms were spacious and clean...loved the fully equipped kitchenettes with basics a person needs. Bed was so comfy I didn't wanna leave lol love it here

Candlewood Suites West Edmonton - Mall Area, an IHG Hotel
This was our first stay at the Candlewood hotel. My main complaint is that they require a $400 deposit to pay for the room with a debit card. I’ve never had that issue with any other hotel I’ve stayed at. Other than that, I will say that it’s a nice, clean hotel with spacious rooms but for the price we paid for a 5 day trip, I wish they had more to offer. There’s no on-site restaurant nor complimentary breakfast. No complimentary snacks or beverages in the rooms either. Our bathroom was shower only, no bathtub. Cleaning staff only come by once a week and there’s no one at the front desk during nights. They do have a pool but it’s shared with the hotel next door so it can get extremely crowded and we found it extremely cold.

Pet fees were never explained properly nor did they give us a handout for it like they say they do.Great rooms great heat or ac. The cupboard is awesome. 15 bucks to west edmonton. Can be a little nosey because of the vaulted ceilings.Lock your carsGreat hotel. I'll never stay there again though
