I purchased 2 lbs of 800 fill duck down from Feather Industries for a MYOD/DIY top quilt. I was very impressed with a few things from this company.1. I live in Quebec and Feather Ind is located in toronto. After completing my order it took 2 days for the shipment to reach me. It was extremely fast. Thumbs up for that.2. The 800 fill duck down was truly 100% down, no feathers.3. I think they gave me a few ounces more than I paid for. I used 29 ounces for my quilt and I still have a decent amount of down left. I'd say around 4 ounces left.The only downside (which isn't really a downside, just an insecurity of mine) is they only do payments by email or phone. The phone worked perfectly fine for me. About 1-2 weeks after I received my order I got the bill in the mail. So that was good.The customer service was great too. The man who gave me advice on which down to buy was extremely helpful and the lady who completed my order was very nice and understanding.I would recommend Feather Ind to anyone looking for down to do any kind of MYOG or DIY projects in Canada. Their down is ACTUALLY responsibly sourced down, not like that RDS down you find in all kinds of products. Their down, according to their website is a by-product of the processing of waterfowl, which means that no live picking is involved.Overall I am extremely satisfied with the product and service. If you are hesitant, DON'T BE.
