Bubbles & Whiskers Grooming Salon

This is the best dog groomer place in Oshawa!! I took my dog there today for the first time and it was a very positive experience. They are so good and my ‘difficult’ haveneese looked great when I picked him up. They really care about your pet and definitely go the extra mile to provide excellent service.

Before I even brought my puppy home I visited and researched a variety of groomers. As a picky and overprotective dog mom I wanted the best for my boy. The moment I walked into Bubbles & Whiskers I felt welcomed and understood. My boy Macintosh has already had three appointments and loved each one. Every time we step out of the car in the parking lot his leash manners go out the window because he is so excited. Our first appointment was at 12 weeks old and it was the first time I had left him with anyone outside my family. All of the staff showed him so much love and care. They were also extremely patient and understanding of his puppy behaviours. Stephanie is very knowledgeable and knows exactly what I am looking for. Macintosh is going to grow into a very large and fluffy dog. I completely trust Bubbles & Whiskers for all of his grooming needs. If you are looking for a groomer that will love and care for your dog as much as you do, then I highly recommend Bubbles & Whiskers!

Dexter got all primped and pampered and came home smelling so good (plus about 5 lbs less fur!). Happy pup and happy us!

Service is A1. Sarah has groomed 4 dogs of mine. My previous an American Bulldog no one else would groom due to his breed. He did fine. Still grooming 3 dogs of mine, 1 is a grumpy old bulldog, the other a Corso pup both hated being groomed but will let Sarah bath and groom them. My bulldog pup loves the attention and she loves Sarah. Will not take my dogs any where else. Plus, location is beyond convenient.

Bubbles & Whiskers is an amazing place! My dog has anxiety in most situations but since we have been shopping next door at Global ever since she was little, she is quite comfortable roaming around the store and into the grooming salon next door. This makes it so much easier to take her for her grooming.The atmosphere in the salon is calm and friendly. There are not a large number of dogs and people, so it creates a welcoming and calming environment. There are only 2 stations so I can avoid the hustle and bustle of large Pet department stores which cause my dog stress.My favourite part about this salon is the fact that they have 2 harnesses to hold the dog in place. This is especially good for dogs that are healing from hip or knee issues. It is also excellent for older dogs who have pain when standing or sitting too long in one position.The full grooming package is a wonderful treat for my dog and she gets one on one treatment. The groomers have lots of experience and it is obvious from the way the handle the animals that they like their jobs. They are very attentive to the animal's needs and they listen to your choices.The price is also reasonable. I pay less here than at other large Pet department store type locations for the same service only better because of the personal touch.I highly recommend Bubbles & Whiskers!!

I have gone there twice and both times they did an amazing job. They are gentle and patient with the dogs. They also generously donate grooms to rescue dogs so they will look their best for potential adopters.

Sarah is absolutely amazing! My Danni was so anxious the first time going in, especially around the nails and she has come such a long way and has no issue now, all thanks to Sarah! Would recommend for anyone looking for a new groomer.

Super happy and grateful! I took my dog Yuki there today for the first time. He had been seriously traumatized by Paws for Thought (as had I with their rudeness). At Bubbles & Whiskers Yuki was treated with such great professionalism and care that he came out happy and relaxed -- and looking fabulous. The groomer was incredibly nice, and also gave me some tips on things I can do at home to help Yuki overcome a couple of things he is still not comfortable with. It is wonderful that we have found such a great groomer, thank you!

Mouse, my husky-shepherd mix, is not a fan of grooming, but always comes out of her appointment with Sarah looking great! I know Sarah must be patient because I've tried to bathe Mouse myself and it's not easy! Also, this is the only time she wears a cute bandana!

Changing my 5 star review to 1 star... Over the last year, the service at this place has really diminished. It used to be that I'd call once for an appointment, and I'd wait maybe 3 days for someone to get back to me (which was not really good service to begin with, I guess). But now, they're not getting back to me at all. I called over a month ago and left 2 or 3 different messages to make an appointment, and I still haven't heard back. I took my business to another place on Rossland that charges less for the same service and actually picks up their phones and books appointments immediately.
