Westwood Lake Park
Great Beach, plenty of parking and a really nice boat launch area.Watch for big pokey sticks along the shore lines if using an inflatable watercraft.

Westwood Lake Park
Westwood Lake is an excellent lake to spend the day at. It's pretty busy most days in the summer with a lot of families. Parking has improved ever since the lot has been redone. The lake itself has a great temp and there is a awesome walking trail around the lake.Overall, a great place to be on a sunny day, just beware it can get busy.

One of my favourite places in the area. This is a nice little, but not so little man made lakes. If you have young kids, or if you’re a big kid with small kids :-) and you want to relax while hey play in the water, this is the perfect location. Family friendly, beach waterfront is shallow for a decent distance.Want to go for a hike? There’s a wonderful hike around the lake that can be done with kids, it’s approx 5km long and worth doing it.Enjoy!

Beautiful scenic walk. The park is so lovely. I am only confused with the loop though.Great beach area.Also, have great trail for walking dog.It has two parking area from what I saw.

Love this park! Very family friendly! Nice for jogging, simple hike, walk, or run.Also kids enjoy the small playground by the beach. Two slides, one tire swing, and other activities.In summer there’s always a lifeguard on duty to make sure swimmers are safe.You can also bring your fishing boat or kayak, paddle, etc.Never been to to the washrooms but I’ve seen people go in regularly so it doesn’t look like an issue.It’s also a nice park for dogs.The distance around the lake is about 5k so it would be a wonderful exercise.Easy parking. Some areas have shade from trees if you go further into the parking lot.In summer it closes at 11 and in winter at 9 pm.
