Dollarama

Store was the same as others but there were no cashiers. It was all self serve. Wife hit a wrong button and ordered 50 bags by mistake and it took a long time to get someone's attention to help. Should always have at least 1 live person at cash at all times.

I have had two bad experiences at dollarama in 2 weeks.I am told to go too self check and I said no thanks I do not agree with them.The lady and gentleman at the times both have me attitude and told me I had to wait till someone was ready to go too cash and serve me.I am treated with disrespect and ignorance.When asked If I would like a bag I said yes please and when I was ready to leave no bag was provided.

Clean well stocked, well run store. Huge savings on garden and bicycle accessories compared to the big box stores.

We shop at this location for specifics but far prefer the Port Hope Store and or Dollar Tree. They all but forced use of the self serve checkout is not appreciated. If Dollarama wants me to be a cashier I would appreciate remuneration. The people on the floor are generally helpful but the front end staff are often rude. It is noted that there is NEVER a staff member at the checkout cash registers. As stated I will only shop at this location out of necessity and not desire.

I went there looking for art materials for myself and daughter. They have a wide selection of paper, markers, stencils, stickers and a lot more to make our own Halloween decorations.

Years ago, I would have rated this 5-stars, but since they moved from the smaller location into this spot, things have slowly deteriorated. I can't say that the staff is outright rude, but some of them sure are indifferent to customers being in the store. There doesn't seem to be a dress code in this place. Really, I could care less if they wore an identifying (uniform) article or just their street clothes, but some of them take this freedom to the limit. Have some decency and wear clothing that I don't have to see chest hair or back hair sticking out. Wearing a t-shirt isn't bad, but not one that's torn and looks like battery acid was sprayed on it. As for jeans, I have no problem with jeans, but not when they're deliberately ripped to look stylish. Keep that kind of dress for your personal time, when you're in a business working on the clock, would it kill you to dress with just a bit of respect for the customers? Aside from this, the store is fairly clean, reasonably well stocked, the only other issue is that pricing is a problem. Things that have the prices on the front might not necessarily ring up at that price, and you have to catch them and point it out to them that it rang up higher than the price right on the label. That's irritating that a product comes from the factory with a price tag on it, but somebody somewhere decided to hike the price, so the UPC gets scanned and you get charged the higher price. You gonna do that, you have to put new price stickers on the merchandise.

Products rarely last the first use. No return policy.Exploiting consumers, creating landfill.

Bright not crowded quick in and out lovely staff

Prepare for long lines currently and some rude customers who don't understand or appreciate social distancing. However they have a huge selection of items priced just right and the staff is awesome. Always friendly and helpful. Certainly doing their part right now in these times. When this is over they'll still be wonderful.
