Unfortunately, coming to post I see previous comments that the service is and has always been slow. I was told that I had to wait 15 minutes and it took over 30 minutes before I had to leave, no service in sight.

It's a clean, well-organized, well-managed pharmacy. They have good specials sometimes, that are advertised in their flyers or online. They use Air Miles rewards cards there, so if you have one you may as well use it if you're buying anyway.

I have been going to this Jean Coutu for 3 years and ALWAYS had a good experience. From the pharmacy where the staff is working non-stop to accommodate customers waiting to renew prescriptions and have interrogations to be answered, to the cosmetic staffs who’s very knowledgeable of their products, to the Post Office employees who are courteous despite very unpleasant customers sometimes.All that to say that I don’t understand all the bad last reviews for this place. Possibly because people like me who don’t have any issues don’t take the time to post reviews.Here it is.

Very happy with the service received at the pharmacy. They are professional and very helpful every time.

I've never received such kind service at a drugstore. The cosmetics lady moved a display so I could access the makeup and gave me a makeup wipe when I needed it without me asking. She just let me browse and I was able to enjoy shopping. She spoke to me kindly in both English and French. They seem dedicated to customer service at this particular store! Even though they have a smaller makeup selection than larger stores, I recommend!

An employee named Jean-Francois was very helpful and nice! Also, a girl in the pharmacy working was very helpful as well!

You go into to pick up a prescription.. And then you have wait in a lineup to leave the store even if you are not buying anything.. With COVID cases at an all time high, isn't it a better idea to let people leave your store instead of keeping them inside in a confined space in a line up for no reason?

Edit 4 if I could give them lower than 1 star I would. Called in advance for a renewal and was told to come after 8 pm, showed up and they had no record of the requestservice continues to get worse. The telephone order pickup window an consultation line window are right beside each other and the waiting lines are not clearly marked. I have waited on different occasions to pick up my prescriptions only to have people who arrived after me cut in front of me because they insisted they were in the right line. This pharmacy seems incapable if organizing themeslves.Edit #2 called ahead in the morning to get my prescription filled after 5, got there after 5 and it hasn't even been started. They have 2 speeds, slow and dead stopcalled ahead to get my prescription filled so I wouldn't have to wait the normally very long time, this time they told me 2 hours and 30 minutes. This is perhaps the most disorganized and poorly run pharmacy ever. Takes obscene amounts of time to fill prescriptions. I came in on a Friday at 10 to 5. Granted there were a few customers waiting but there just as many staff behind the counter as in front. Waited more than twice the amount of time as they said it would take only to find out it had been sitting there waiting but no one had called me. And this isn't the first time this happened.

Staff is very helpful and always friendly. Professional. Neighbourhood feel.I appreciate how they have handled the pandemic protocols. Lucky to have them in my neighbourhood.
