Service from the younger staff was terrible; we were given dirty looks, barely spoken too, our order was mixed up and only half of it was brought out when we asked about the rest of our food we were simply brushed off. When we brought up our issue with the food to the manager we were dismissed once again. The management was horrendous and we felt as if we were not welcome. We will not be returning to this despicable establishment.

Me and my family come here every year. Both my father and my grandfather have a history working at the club and we love the environment. So thankful for the kind people and staff. :)

The Ojibway Club is the heart of the island community at Pointe au Baril. It is a place to be enjoyed in the summer and savoured during the long winter evenings. While there I visited the gift shop which was very tastefully laid out with a good selection of items on offer.I also visited the grocery store and was impressed with the selection this late in the season. If you are passing through Pointe au Baril, especially by boat, you should really take the time to visit the Ojibway.

The older staff were outgoing and delivered great service. The much younger staff were quite rude, made snide remarks, and I often saw them giving other travellers dirty looks. Our food was missed on the order, and half the people at the table were served, the other half were not. This is understandable as mistakes can be made, but the manager could not be bothered and had nothing to say to us when we asked about our meals. The manager demonstrated an extreme lack of care and was very curt with us. A real shame as the property is so historic and beautiful, you’d expect a great experience. The younger staff clearly show they do not want to be working.

I was one of the guest of friends who took us to visit the Ojibway Club. They told us the fascinating story of the place and showed us the historical artifacts of the place with its dining room, its coffee shop, its movie hut" where we attended a very interesting presentation on micro plastic."

What a great place to stop out in the Bay! Lots of dock space. Building gives that back in the day" vibe. Take time to read the "walls" if you drop in! Local history on display. Food was ok with burgs n fries. Fries were the highlight. Ice cream on a hot day out in the bay...it does not get better!"

Very nice spot to visit (if you can get there). This is an island based private club but it welcomes non-member day visitors (kind of like a community centre). The restaurant is set up more like a sandwich bar but the view from the veranda whilst eating is absolutley stunning. As is the trails around the property. The grocery store at the docks is surprisingly well stocked and reasonably priced considering the isolated location. It was a great place to spend a half day.

Gift shop was pricey and non-members are charged more than the tag says. Docking is free, and there are some walking trails.
