Deas Island Regional Park
Nice park with paths a dock and plenty of parking. No concessions stands so you need to prepare and bring what you need food, water, etc. Few picnic tables next to the water so you can enjoy the view. Would love it if there was a place to rent rowboats or canoes. There is a rowing club but for members only

Great park, but the park rangers are very intrusive and lack customer service. They are rude brash and very in your face. Even with the correct permits they gave our party a hard time. We had a friend's and family gathering with toddlers to seniors and they were constantly checking in on us to see if we were violating any rules.

Incredible park with lots of nature paths, wildlife, old heritage homes and plenty of parking and space for social distancing. There are public bathrooms near the parking area. Highly recommend visiting during the summertime, but definitely bring water and some good walking shoes. If you want to be surrounded by beautiful wetland, marshy forests and a view of the water, this is the place to be. You can hear all the sounds of the birds around you and encounter some really neat insects, too.

Nice place to go on a sunny day for a picnic and walk. If you have a paddle board or kayak it's a great activity to do as well.

Nice park with water view! Good place for a quick hike or a walk with your dog. Plenty of parking and a couple of washrooms nearby.

Great place for a long walk. Nice, easy to walk trails. The Dyke Loop Trail is probably the nicest.

Beautiful park, lovely trails and scenery in both summer and fall. Lots of parking. Outhouses though so go if you need to before you arrive if you're not a fan of outhouses. Good location to go for a scenic walk with family or for a date ☺️

Deas Island Regional Park
There is a nice view of the river and far-away mountains for the first 300m or so from the first parking lot. Beyond that, the trails are still nice, but don't have a good view of the water.
