Shiptech Marine Repair

Shiptech Marine is the only call you have to make. William (Will) is absolutely knowledgeable, efficient and honest. He set a time and phoned when he was on his way. I bought an older boat, motor and trailer and wanted a marine mechanic to check the older 1980's Mercury outboard out to be sure it was going to last me as I was told when I bought it that it had very low hours. Merc runs great and he fixed a couple leaks with the hydraulic lift. I will not call or get advice from anyone else on my boat.Thanks Will.Wayne

I got an older boat thinking it would be a great time for myself and son.Then impeller went, and electrical problems.Long and short after calling 10+ dealerships and mechanics. I was recommended to ship tech.When William showed up; and showed his experience I was beyond grateful that I hired the greatest mechanic I could have. Not only did he fix my impeller issue he upgraded my electrical, the knowledge and experience William shows on site is absolutely top notch. If you have to wait for this service, which honestly I did not(I just understand being busy) and having to order parts.. I took a couple days paying. I will never regret meeting wil.but the quickest and most honest boss/installer. He had my job done in less the 5 hours. And it wasn't pretty

Shiptech responded to my request very quickly. Unlike most mechanics who have no interpersonal or communication skills, Shiptech was really easy to work with. Shiptech completed my Mercruiser engine maintenance on time and for the exact quoted price. I got a list of things I might want to consider addressing in the next year or so but didn't try to upsell me on anything. I also got some good advice on how to get the most out of my boat and what to do to minimize wear. I would use again and highly recommend Shiptech for boat engine maintenance/repair in general and Mercruiser engines in particular. Thanks again!

I bought a boat in Nanaimo, that needed trailer repairs. Living in Prince Rupert, this ended up being a logistical nightmare to try fix remotely. I called a lot of places and none were willing to help or even talk to me. I was referred to Will, which ended up being a god send! Very good communication, was willing to listen to our situation and was ready and willing to assist. Wasn’t an ideal repair situation, but he understood and was very accommodating. Always answered his phone and was on the repair asap, even finished it early! If I lived in the area, I would never use anyone else!

Will solved and issue with my outboard. He is reliable, honest, reasonably priced and returns calls. Hard to find service like this these days.

Will provided excellent and prompt service for my boat winterization. I will definitely call him next year!
