Very happy with the tech who performed the install of our home alarm system. The basic alarm system was in place from the previous owner of the house. We accepted the previous installs and had additional devices and monitoring installed. Good discussions with the tech on location and use of the new devices as well as a thorough overview of the operation of the overall system. We feel well protected with Price's monitored alarm system.

Great people get product. Jesse was our tech and did a great job installing the system for us. He was very professional. Brett who was our first contact also did a great job and provided all the information we needed.

We have had Kevin Catling in our shops numerous times to help with our security system. He is very knowledgeable and personable. He goes over every step and does follow up calls to make sure everything is working well. We highly recommend him. Thank you Kevin!

My Non-Profit agency used Telus security for our security needs. Telus has twice, let us down and left us vulnerable.The first time our offices were broken into, Telus called our call list, got no response and so sent out a Patrol person. That person arrived, saw that the back lower window was open with lot’s of office supplies on the ground, and responded by CLOSING THE WINDOW AND NOT CALLING POLICE. They never called to follow up with the individuals on our call list and so it wasn’t until much later that we were made aware a break-in had occurred. The thieves stole a laptop.At that time I called Telus, gave them more names to call and asked them for their protocol. I was told that when an alarm goes off, they call the call list for the property and if no one can be reached they send out a patrol person. The person who responded to our site decided there was no need to call Police (no further reason was given).The second time we were broken into was two weeks later. Again, the alarm went off (it was 2am) and calls went out to the call list. Receiving no answer Telus DID NOTHING FURTHER. No patrol person was sent out, no Police were called. As a result the thieves stole 3 laptops this time (using a crowbar to break into an interior office).When I called Telus, they told me the dispatcher who received the initial alarm, found the instructions too confusing so decided to do nothing at all.I demanded to speak with a Manager. It took numerous days to speak to someone in the Dispatch department. He told me that Telus would reimburse me for the cost of the stolen laptops and pay for the damage to the interior of the building (totaling approximately $3 – 4,000).I was then contacted by their Investigations. The tone from Telus changed abruptly when I was informed they would review the contract, investigate and get back to me within 60 to 90 days. The total amount they were willing to commit to for reimbursement was $500! I was then directed to submit receipts, police reports and pictures.Telus is disinterested in providing satisfactory customer service and seemingly even more disinterested in providing actual security. They are very interested, however, in taking your money and accepting to responsibility for their lack of response to security breaches.We have now given our business to a local security company.

Dominic came out today and fixed up my alarm connections after a new window install. He made some great recommendations and was very efficient and helpful. seemed very knowledgable as well. Even called to let me know he was on his way. Totally recommend this company, all their staff are great no matter how many times I accidentally set off the alarm by going in my shop on the way out to the car after I have set the alarm.

We were very lucky to get the tech Kevin C. to do our service call today. I normally don't do surveys but I wanted to pass on my thanks to tech Kevin C. Once again we received great service & attention to detail from him. He had previously helped us sort out issues with our new install that another tech inadvertetly messed up a bit. I also had several tech questions since I could not find some details in the tech manuals. Kevin certainly knows the products and he helped me out with that as well. I wish I could pre-book him if I ever needed another tech call. Your company is very fortunate to have an employee like this. Kevin is not only concientious but very tech savy. Please also pass on my compliments to Don in Dispatch who was also very helpful. It is refreshing to encounter good people like this!

Kevin C. From Nanaimo Prices Alarms was here to install new cameras at our office today. Kevin was professional courteous and his customer service was outstanding. we are very happy with his install.

Our installer was very tenacious, especially when my 100 plus year old house proved to be built differently than modern homes. What was supposed to be a quick installation, turned into a much longer job than anticipated, but he didn't give up. Thanks to him, my family is feeling safe and secure.

Our installer was Kevin. Excellent experiece. Very knowledgeable and detail-oriented. He was amicable and very responsive to our requirements. His recommendations for additional security features were well-explained and implemented efficiently. Equally important, Kevin took great care to cause no damage throughout a challenging installation

We have had the Alarm service for about a month now and enjoy the security it offers us overall. We had a pleasant experience overall on deciding on the type of system suited our needs and the same with installation and operational education. We definitely would recommend Price's to our family and friends.
