This dealer sold me a faulty battery last summer. The service writer that diagnosed the battery told me that SG doesn't handle the warranty claim on a battery that they sold. He was kind enough to provide the warranty contact information of a distributor that doesn't even supply the battery I bought. The parts department at SG then told me that they do handle the warranty claims, but that the battery I bought didn't have warranty. Parts then discovered" that the warranty period was actually 6 months

I have ordered lots of odd parts for lawnmowers, boat motors, and generators over the years. I’ve had service done on that equipped from time to time as well. Always knowledgeable and welcoming. Helpful, friendly staff, genuinely interested in supporting their clientele. Way to go SG Power.

Customer service definitely needs to learn how to be helpful or at least pleasant. I know we all have bad days but this was a skow of how not to treat fellow staff or customer. I will take my business elsewhere

Great experience buying my new Kawi. All departments came together and worked together. A great team of people. Even the service manager came out to help tie it down in my truck. Amazing place. Fully recommend

Purchased a new boat/ motor only to find out, that they hadn't run the motor. Put the boat in the water, and alarms are going off...hauled the boat all the way back to the dealership, only to be told they never rigged the boat !After getting the problem fixed, turns out the tachometer is not functioning properly. I looked at the back of the tachometer, and it's on the wrong pole setting ! Bring it to the service managers attention...has no clue how to set the tachometer or which setting it should be on for this motor. Unbelievable! Can't see why the are going out of business.

I called in asked if they had the battery I needed for my 2005 Honda Jazz Scooter, they did, I came in 10 minutes to closing, no one said anything or got mad at me for being there 10 minutes to closing. Very nice guy (sorry I forgot your name sir) who'd talked to me on the phone ran got the battery, I paid, he took my old battery, said you're welcome and thank you about a hundred times. Over all the place is well laid out, the employee's seem nice and very helpful, will definitely be going back for more things soon.Thanks for the help SG Power!

Buying the bike went smooth, but then servicing the bike was another thing. Was very difficult to get bike in when needed and scope of work wasn't clear till I got the bill. And usually was way more then the budget that was set in the beginning. Bike also had mistake from manufacturers (starter too small kept blowing) which I was expected to cover the cost and fought to get them to fix on there dime. Parts department was helpful and Trent is good mechanic.

When I looked up the current rating I was worried, but then quickly realized these reviews came from SG power (no longer in business.) and NOT Barnes power equipment. Sure glad I took the time as the team at Barnes although not perfect sure understands what customer service means and do their best to make you feel that. I will definitely buy and service here after my experience.

Can't say enough good things about the customer service I recently received at Barnes Powersports. Bought a new Honda Lawnmower last summer and needed some warranty work, Explained the issue I was having and was dealt with in a fast and courteous manner. Many thanks to Lee and Devon in the service Dept and General Manager Sean for making my experience a pleasant one. Customer Service is a top priority for them
