This was so easy. Bridget helped me on the phone. She filled in my info for the unit and sent me a docu-sign document to me email. A few initials, a couple signatures and my credit card information and I have a storage unit!TIP: I do recommend you check with your homeowners insurance to see if your belongings are covered while in storage.Our insurance covers our belongings wherever they are in the US. Have proof of your homeowners insurance that shows how much your belongings are covered to send to them right away.They do require insurance and if you can’t provide proof they charge you the minimum for $9 a month.

Won a unit on auction and had bid on another, the person who outbid me didn’t show so ko called and offered it to me they met me at a time that was convenient for me and we’re very pleasant to work with! Great customer service!

I recently upgraded my storage unit at 601 Pilot in Albert Lea from a 5' x 10' unit to a 10' x 10' unit. The staff at KO Storage was very helpful in getting all of the paperwork done for me in a timely manner. I plan to continue using KO Storage for several reasons. The units are clean and new. The location is very easy to get to—near the intersection of I-35 and I-90. And price is reasonable, especially with the monthly auto-payment. I'm very happy with KO Storage.

I would not recommend this storage facility. Poorly maintained gravel road into units, security gate has been broken for over a year, older storage units need repairs with broken doors. New owners have continually raised rental rates every year. Owners have promised updates to property but have failed to complete.

Poor quality of all units and location. Customer care is not the greatest. For the quality and locations of any units the price for rent is ridiculous high.

I have rented here for over 7 years and it has been horrible. It has been sold 3 times with no notice, rent has raised 6 times, it is supposed to be secured with a fence but the gate has been broken for 3 years and now doesn't even exist. I emptied the unit and was GUARENTEED they wouldn't take out any more money and took out over a hundred dollars. At one point the unit got water in it and alot of my stuff got ruined. These people are nothing short of crooks, if I could give them less than one star I would.
