Seaside Pearl Winery

A delightful small scale winery that is fun to visit or use as a venue setting. Set in vineyards with gorgeous views of Mount Baker, the family has set the location up as a wine tasting chapel which can be used for weddings with outdoor patios or indoors at the Barrel room.Wines are decent with lots of info from the host. Wine taste is very person specific but the four of us visiting had a great time and enjoyed the wide variety they had on offer. Because it is a small batch winery(2,000 cases) they may be sold out of your favourite quicklyEnjoy

Absolutely fantastic winery to visit and the gem of the lower mainland. The family and team are wonderful and their wine knowledge is spectacular. We visit regularly and were so blown away on our first visit we instantly joined their wine club and have been so happy that we did!! I would highly recommend any wine lover, seasoned or new, to visit and enjoy the full spectrum, of amazing wines, incredible views and even more so, the incredible people!!Thank you Allison, David, Austin, Matias and Andre for the wonderful wine and an always enjoyable experience!!! Came here for a wine tasting for Mother’s Day. Great wines and calm atmosphere. Austin was so knowledgeable and fun during our wine tasting. Do not listen to the negative reviews about him; His mother, Allison, is also so kind and easy to talk to.I highly recommend this place, they are amazing here.

This gorgeous winery was the last stop on my birthday wine tour and it was the best! I had a group larger than planned and they still made room for us. Austin’s quality service, knowledge & great sense of humour made our tasting fabulous! Oh, and the wine is delicious also. Highly recommend!

First time at this winery and won’t be last either, the service was on point, friendly and knowledgeable. Austin provided an professional and personal tasting, where he offered multiple pairing ideas and explained all the notes and hints for each wine sampled. This winery has a deep historical connection in the community and is true to its roots with each wine it procures.

The tasting process was unhurried and the server did a good job of describing the wines as well as accommodating us in a quite varied choice of wine combinations between the four in our group.The venue is comfortable and pleasant and most importantly, the wines are good.I usually feel good if I taste one wine that I really want to buy, but on the day we were there, I was happy to pick up three different wines. Two thumbs up.

I have been here twice now, and both experiences were very good. The tasting room is beautiful, as are both patios - some of the nicest/cleanest I've seen in the lower mainland. I love that each wine is named after a historic event/person, it gives character to the bottles, and can be a conversation starter. The sommelier we had was knowledgeable and professional.The tasting fee is on the high side, but you get to try I think 6 wines, where most places it's only 4. You don't get to pick which ones to try though. You also need to buy 2 bottles of wine for them to waive the tasting fee, which is more than most places. Both times we went we got fresh berries/nuts to have with our tasting, as well as a bottle of water, which is a nice touch. I believe reservations are required for tastings.The website used to say something about needing to purchase a bottle or two in order to sit on the patio. Honestly that's what stopped me from coming here sooner, it seemed steep. I don't know if that's still the case though, I couldn't find anything like that on their website anymore, so maybe they've done away with that rule. Both times we went, we did buy 2 or more bottles so it wasn't an issue anyway.Overall I think this winery is very beautiful, and we have had great experiences there so will be back for sure!

We showed up today after a disappointing experience elsewhere. Seaside Pearl was so lovely and the staff very friendly and accommodating. The wines were delicious, especially the Petit Milo, and the setting is gorgeous! We'll be back soon!

The effort and passion from our host was in abundance but the execution needs alot of work. Our host briefly fumbled his words and momentarily broke character from what was an otherwise dry delivery of a set sales script void of any real interaction and it was the highlight of the service experience. If the same effort was applied to connecting and genuinely engaging with customers I'm sure there would be an abundance of glowing reviews.

What a great experience I had. Staff & owner were very friendly. The tasting was a nice line-up of 8 wines. Their reds were fabulous. The staff decided to do a 3 years vertical tasting and they offered me to join :) That winery was my #1 in the area
