I loved my class last winter with Julie @ Shaw Street Pottery! She is so kind, patient and helpful. I finished the class with tons of pieces I'm very proud of! I've signed up for her fall class and I can't wait to make even more pieces!

Shaw Street Pottery is a great find. I have done 2 sessions of classes and I found It to be the highlight of my week. The environment is lovely and Julie is a patient teacher with delightful sense of humour. She has created a welcoming spot for all. I will keep registering because it is so much fun.

I have taken several classes with Julie and have loved every single one of them! The calm, intimate small classes really lend themselves to a relaxing, enjoyable pottery experience, and Julie really knows her way around pottery techniques and has great tips and tricks I haven't gotten from other studios!

Shaw Street Pottery was the best experience ever! I had so much fun and the instructor is so kinda and helpful. She let us be creative and we got to make lots of cool items. I learnt lots and unlocked a new hobby for myself! I highly recommend this to anyone who is interested in trying out pottery! (finished products posted)

Classes with Julie are truly magical - her studio is set in the oasis of her backyard and has absolutely everything a beginner - advanced potter could desire for creating. I've taken one-to-one wheel classes as well as hand building classes with Julie and I'll be back again. Compared to other studios, Julie offers a relaxed atmosphere with few participants so all your questions are answered right away. I highly recommend her studio.

I had an absolutely fantastic time doing the 6 week late spring classes. The group was super small so everyone had plenty of time to get individual support and instruction. The classes also allow for a lot of creative freedom to make pieces that you love. Julie is hilarious, kind, and patient, and made such a comfortable and fun environment. I would highly recommend her classes!

I am LOVING my pottery lessons at Shaw Street Pottery! Julie (the owner) is so lovely, patient, and encouraging. The studio is tucked away in her beautiful garden and makes the whole experience just that more magical.

I did a plates and platters 4- week course with Julie at Shaw Street Pottery. The class was limited to 4 students, which was a great size to get a lot of one on one with Julie. She is extremely knowledgeable about her craft and an enthusiastic, warm and funny teacher. We had a great course with her and I can't wait to sign up for more.
