MrJ Escape Room

Played the witch's house. Host was friendly but started vaping in the room for no particular reason. I was completely dazed with the lack of responsibility and courtesy. Everything was fine but it soon went to hell. Found out that half of the staff wasn't wearing masks. A number of them walked into the game room without precautions and just left like there were no players or something. The cashier didn't even have the notion to put on his mask when I was paying but simply vaped all over the payment terminals.Overall, the place broke a number of health codes without any considerations for the customer.The game itself was well-designed. Incorporated enough details for mystery and difficulty. But the atmosphere... simply ruined the credibility of the game.

Worst escape room ever. Booked a game and was told that room was unavailable when we arrived at the location. It seemed that the person we called wasn't even at work and therefore was not sure of the availability of the store. That was obviously the worst excuse I ever heard. If that was true I truly question the managing of this place. After waiting for another 30 minutes we were finally put in a room with most of the props broken. We did the assassination room and to be honest the story lacked and logical sense. There was only 1 room (not sure what kind of escape room has only 1 room in it). The room decor was out of date and the location was messy. I'm not sure if the staff is new or not but the place was not organized at all. I wouldn't recommend people to go there at all. Exit Canada is way better to be honest.

Really bad reception. Couldn’t hear anything.. and the person I talked to did not seem to take us in at 9:30 pm when these guys are open until 12amUpdate: then why would you lie and say that we are all booked. I even confirmed whether was it for the whole night and the person on the phone said yeah till 12am. Hah short staffed

Went pretty last minute but the staff was very sweet and cooperative! The escape room was entertaining with interesting corresponding stories and they allowed us to bring our phones in the escape room too! Overall a great experience and would definitely come back again for the new rooms!

The actual If you have room was awesome I loved the story and the atmosphere and the locks and puzzles were really cool. I like to the incorporation of many different mechanical technology type puzzles.. The price was super relatable and a pretty good deal for when you get there let you go over your time to finish it and they give you lots of ants and things. However the whole experience was kind of confusing because none of the rules were explained very well. Room was way too dark and they never told us that we could bring our phones and to use them as flashlights the story wasn’t really explained it other than just go in and do it in a couple of the puzzles that relied on technology our bugged out there’s a couple things that didn’t work.

We chose The Lost Tomb with 7 people. We were a mix of veterans and newbies. I had done around 12 escape rooms, another had done 15, and 2 others had done 2. The promise of no locks and extremely high reviews made us very hopeful. It is the second worst escape room my partner and I have ever done. We paid $25/pp.Please save your hard-earned money and don't do Lost Tomb.Lost Tomb is another one of those dark rooms". In this case there is no light

This is a fantastic place. My friends and I went to this place during the weekend and we had a wonderful experience. We played the vampire hunter room and it was awesome. The puzzles were creative, surprising, and logical. The staff are very nice that they are always willing to help. They also let us go over the time in order to finish the game. This is the best escape room I have ever been to.

I would say 4,5.They have very simply designed riddles with some flaws in logic but overall it's quite practical which I like.It's a bit of a weird thing that flashlights are not provided, you have to take your PHONE WITH YOU to have light inside.Wow.What if I don't have one...Or the battery is off...Or there is no flashlight on it...

There was so much potential for this to be a really great place. The story was cool and the puzzles we're actually quite creative. That being said, 3 of the 7-8 puzzles were broken and we had to have the staff come in and manually activate them for us to progress.The one upside is that there's no time limit to the rooms. You finish when you finish, so there's no pressure.Also, first impressions matter for businesses and the place reeking of cigarette smoke coupled with employees smoking with their buddies outside during business hours was a turn off.

Unique puzzles that fit consistently with the story. Unfortunately the front was quite messy, the experience was pricey, and it did smell like smoke inside. However, the staff were friendly and we were told that they were in the process of rebuilding a couple rooms so that may be the reason for the mess.
