Update: take before and after pictures... their charges are insane if there is damage and you cant even inspect it. Also, keep gas receipt. West York charged 750 for damage, but Dozr charged 1330 ..this difference was service charge"..Can't inspect the goods.Review: Charged credit card twice. They said 1 card was being blocked so gave them another

DOZR is a Client of ours for the Care of their Office, through our Office Cleaning services. They have fantastic to work with, as a Client. They pay very quickly and consistently and anytime that we've had to chat with them they've been very friendly and receptive. Throughout the pandemic, they've struggled with work from home, return to the office, hybrid office work, all of that stuff, and together we've always been able to come up with the right plan so that their work environment is a clean, healthy space to work in. Beware of the risk of being overcharged if anything goes wrong. I rented a mini excavator for 2 days. It was a little bit bait-and-switch as the machine was smaller than I requested and from a different rental company. At the end of day 1 (after 5.6 hours of use) a hose blew at the connector and was unusable for day 2. I phoned Dozr right away but didn't hear back until a few days later. They charged an extra $550 to my credit card for the repair ($267 in parts and 2 hour labour), with no refund for the day that it wasn't usable. I should have just replaced the hose myself for $30, ridiculous. I was able to dispute the charge with my credit card company but still had to pay for the second day.

Rented a large telehandler rated for 9000lbs. This machine was unable to lift a 1000lbs beam. We struggled with the machine called to let them know the struggles we were having and they did not offer us any solution but to rent a larger machine at full price. It was very discouraging we had the machine for a one month rental and was really useless compared to other telehandlers we have rented. This situation set us back and caused the framers to have to use chain falls and A-Frames to get the beams in place. Would have really appreciated some form of useful solution from them. Not a good experience.

Whatever you do do not rent from Dozier rental. Customer service is awful. I rented a towable boom lift for a month. On top of my monthly rental, they charge me 18% for a protection plan. If anything happened to the lift it would be covered. I was pulling the lift and the tire blew. I did what I thought was right and went to the local tire shop to have the tire replaced. And now they do not want to reimburse me for the tire. I asked to speak to a supervisor on 11/28 of 2022 and I have not heard from a supervisor yet. Customer service is awful. Do not rent any equipment from Dozier rental.

This company's business model is based on tagging extra costs on the back-ends of rentals. Here is what happened to me. I rented an excavator from Dozr for a week. A couple of days into the rental, the 15 ton excavator started leaking hydraulic fluid. The very personable sales person agreed I could have extra days and the owner of the equipment (the subleasor) sent out a technician to fix it. At the end of the rental I was charged an extra $1K because the repair person (WHO WORKED FOR THE SUBLEASOR) claimed the leak was caused by the 15 ton excavator running over a stump (didn't happen!). Then to add insult to injury they tacked on an additional $400 fee for extra time, and the subleasor picked up the equipment earlier than the agreed upon extra time. I spoke to management (Colin) who insisted that I was liable for the fees and also wouldn't allow the salesperson (Jeremy) to participate in a conference call to back-up my historical account of the situation. The Dozr business model allows the subleasor to call the shots to the detriment of the leasing clients. There is no reason for the subleasor not to give customers faulty equipment and then make them pay for the repairs and also charge for unwarranted extra time charges. Please be aware, if you rent from Dozr, there is a good chance you will be hit with extra fees at the end of the rental and any attempts to escalate through their management chain will fall on deaf ears.I would also like to add that these lies and unwarranted humiliations by Dozr and the subleasor have the tinge of racism, bigotry and possibly misogyny. My experience with this situation has been unusually and intensely disrespectful.

I rented an excavator for a week last summer. The machine I received was not the same brand as I was told that I was supposed to get. It did not come with a bucket thumb as I was promised. One of the tracks fell off the second day of use. The machine was down for half a day before it was repaired. I asked for a half day more of use due to the half day breakdown. I was told no! I asked for a refund for the half day breakdown! Again I was told no!! I was also charged a cleaning bill even though I cleaned the machine and tracks as per what I was told to do. I do not recommend this company! I will never use them again. Very unprofessional and try to rip people off!

This was a first time for my husband and I to need rental equipment like this. It was really nice they were open 24 hours to get quotes and find out about their inventory. Every person I talked to over the course of 3 weeks was extremely helpful and no matter how many times I called they were all polite. We needed a boom lift on a short notice we called Thursday hoping for delivery on Friday. Not only did they follow through, but instead of showing up at 4 PM, dropped the machine off at 8AM. Drivers were very polite and thorough. The machine was also in very good condition. Price was the best possible one I could find, they blew other prices out of the water and the process was very easy. Would definitely use this company again!

I wish I could give 10 stars! I needed a heavy duty forklift immediately, and needed it to transport a CNC mill between 2 job sites. They made it work, got me a forklift, and a driver to transport it to both locations, then back to their yard. Knowledgeable, kind, funny, professional, a real pleasure to deal with. I will use them for all of my rental needs!

Exactly what it says on the tin. Never once addressed me by my name. Gave me a broken lift and cost me an extra day on the job, they overcharged me and I've been waiting over 2 months for them to call me back.POOR SHOW DOZR
