Thanks to some reviews, read well behind that parking is an issue, we took a cab up and down to attend an event, and it was all good. The place is good, with so much to offer

The banquet hall on the 7th floor of the Carlu building is gorgeous. Attended a fundraiser here and the hall, rooms, food, and service was incredible. Washrooms are a bit dated though. Parking is very tricky which is why valet parking is a must if you are booking this venue for an event. It makes for a super upscale and fancy night out.

I recently attended a tech event at The Carlu, and I was impressed by the spaciousness of the venue. It provided ample room for the event, allowing attendees to move around comfortably. The open layout added to the overall experience, creating a welcoming and inviting atmosphere. I appreciated the attention given to providing a spacious environment that enhanced the event.

Very cool place. Enjoyed having our event here. Helpful and accommodating. A little cold in the conference room the first day but quickly fixed for day two. Staff was fantastic, helpful, friendly attentive.Not sure about parking.Transit accessible. Beautiful building, historical I think.

The Carlu is a great conference venue with large mingling areas, presentation center and washrooms. The art deco room is a cool spot for drinks

This venue is so fascinating. It’s an Art Deco oasis tucked away in the sky, the perfect spot to take an event from special to incredible. They have a serious issue with parking, so if your event requires large support vehicles, start planning early.

Absolutely beautiful. This place has deep history, many different rooms for every kind of event. Great retro look stylish art deco with amazing ambiance. A true gem. I thoroughly enjoyed the short time I had to spend here.

Great historical building in a city where many no longer exist.The sound system sure needs some work in the Theatre room. Charlie Brown's teacher could be more clearly understood than the performers at the event.

The area with the stage the tables is very nice very well put together and lighting/sound system is great!
