Riverhurst Wetland
The Riverhurst Wetland is a wonderful place to stop and see and hear nature at its uncomplicated best. It’s a great family place, with kid-friendly signage to help explain why wetlands are so important. Stop in on your way to Diefenbaker or Palliser Park

Riverhurst Wetland
This wetland restoration project has welcomed over 21 species of birds in 2022. With wheelchair accessible walking paths, educational signage along the walking paths, The Garden (community garden for youth in the community), tree nursery, and Village forest (soon to be developed), this area is a lovely place to go for a walk, listen and see the birds, talk to the youth in their gardens, and/or relax at the viewing platform. This is an ongoing project. The Village forest is still under construction and the tree nursery rotates the seedlings every other year.

Riverhurst Wetland
I love this place. It's so peaceful and at the same time an exciting place to gain new knowledge and respect for nature. I've learned a lot thanks to the signs. Volunteers have done an amazing job of sharing, enhancing, and protecting this wetland area. You will be pleasantly surprised by a visit here. I highly recommend it. I would allow an hour for your visit. Visit often because it is ever changing and there is always something new to see or learn.

Thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful walkway through the wetland and the wildlife there. Loved my experience and will go back!
