Pillar To Post Home Inspectors

Al missed an unreasonable number of issues with our house back in January. Not only were there several different issues overlooked, but they were in no way hidden or inaccessible at the time of the inspection.The rotting under our kitchen sink ended up costing us thousands in a new sink and faucet and all new kitchen counters. There was some minor damage under the sink that Al pointed out but he did not turn his head slightly to see the extent or the cause of the damage like our plumber did. Al told us the damage looked old and probably wouldn’t get worse, but the plumber by simply looking up under the sink, noticed the extent of it right away which Al did not do.We also have to replace an entire tub/tub surround which had a poorly-patched hole in the side of the tub. Al was adamant that this damage was cosmetic only when we asked him further questions about it.Lastly, when these issues were brought to the company, I was offered no compensation for the damage that should have been caught. I was offered a refund but only if I signed a non-disclosure agreement. So, not only is the inspector not good at his job, but I would not trust the reviews here as I’m sure many more would be negative if the company were not paying people off to not complain about them. Please do not hire Al or the Pillar to Post company.
