Wakamow Heights Bed & Breakfast

Very pretty historic century home, with interesting history. Hosts are very sweet and friendly. This property is located just on a hill above the river and park which is a very short drive or walk. Bring your canoe or kayak as the river is very calm and we spotted beavers and lots if bird species There is a rental at the park also for paddleboards, canoes, and Kayaks.Room was cozy and I wish we had more time to spend enjoying the lovely garden with fountain and sitting areas outside. A great place to unwind from travel and relax.Breakfast was very goodI've included pictures of two room available, both equally equipped and appealing.

The proprietors, John and Lois, made my stay a home away from home. Always friendly, always helpful. Salt of the earth people. The breakfasts are fantastic, the rooms are always clean, the water is hot, the beds are comfortable, all while being surrounded by history... the rooms take you back to another era of luxury and comfort.I highly recommend this B & B. An unforgettable experience that you just can't get anywhere else.

Fit for royalty this place is. If you travel through Moose Jaw out or It it’s your destination. You MUST visit and stay at this absolutely wonderful historic landmark bed and breakfast. Overlooking the town of Moose Jaw and the Wakamow valley park it is a short drive to all amenities in town. Each of the beautiful unique themed rooms are self contained and have their own satellite tv. Wifi signal is strong and fast, and there are a lot of power receptacles. The overall feel of this place is very nice and has a really rustic antique homey feel, it is warm withe the radiant heating from the golden finished mighty radiators. There is ample hot water and the jetted tub in the room was Fantastic!! Unfortunately there are no ghosts disappointingly, this house has a very rich history that I will leave a mystery. The owners are a very lovely couple that have owned the place for decades and have upkept it very nicely, there is not a speck of dust nor a dust bunny to be found. The beds are super comfortable and you will want to lay in for hours. Please take my advice and book a room now as they will be booked solid for the summer months. I cannot give Lois and John a higher rating! Thank you very much

I absolutely loved my stay here, Lois and John were amazing, this home and it’s history is so fascinating. Every time I turned around there was something else that interested me to read about. I didn’t have enough time there, so I’m booking for my birthday and I’m looking very forward to it! I recommend this bed and breakfast 100% a stay here. ♥️

Lois & John are warm & hospitable to ALL who enter their beautiful, historical, ornate BnB! I have been blessed over the years to drop in & stay, welcomed with enthusiasm always:)...love these two beings!!!
