Let me first start off by saying that of the 12 contractors we spoke to, Nick and Dino were the only ones who gave a quote that was within our budget and adhered to everything we asked for. Other contractors kept adding bells and whistles and giving us quotes that were 20% - 40% higher than what we originally told them our budget was.We had Petta Construction renovate two of our bathrooms in the summer. We originally dealt with Nick who was extremely friendly and my wife and I felt immediately comfortable with while speaking to him.The whole initial phase of the renovation was easy, while picking out our materials from their vendors. Nick was quick to work with the vendors if there were some items we wanted altered or ordered that they did not currently carry or offer.During the actual renovation we met Dino who, like Nick, we felt extremely comfortable with. Both Nick and Dino always had a smile on their faces and were prompt to show up and begin work each day.The trades people that they employ were also very pleasant. They were respectful of our home and left the work space clean each day. One of the vendors I would like to highlight is their tile guy. He does amazing work and plans out every tile placement and is extremely precise. We had patterned tile floors and marble tile in the shower and each piece was placed with purpose.There was one hiccup which was resolved much to our gratitude and satisfaction. When we received our custom cupboards there were some scratches on the front and some paint on back of the drawers. Dino was quick to get on the phone with the vendor and had the issue resolved immediately.We always felt that Petta Construction took extreme pride in their work and reputation and would ensure that we were happy, no matter the effort, with the end result.We would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to have any renovations done to their house. This was a top tier experience.

Dino, Nick, and the rest of the Petta Construction team recently completed a full interior and exterior renovation of our 1.5-storey home. After meeting Dino, we had full confidence that he understood our vision and would bring it to life. The final result was better than we could have dreamed.Dino helped guide us through the reno process, sharing helpful recommendations for design elements and safety features for our home. He was also very reassuring along the way when we were faced with difficulty finding materials, delays on orders, and other COVID-19 barriers. We recently had Dino and his team from Petta Construction install hardwood on our second story, put new trim down and reconstruct our staircase. They were awesome! The team set a deadline to accomplish the job by and worked incredibly hard to meet all timelines. The work they do is excellent and their attention to detail is second to none. I would highly recommend Petta Construction to anyone looking to renovate. Looking forward to having them renovate our main level as well once time and money permit it.

I first came into contact with Dino and Petta Construction during a vendor selection process to add 3 rooms to the front of the home and extend the basement underneath. Of the final 3 contractors, Dino’s idea was the best and it wasn’t the most expensive. It also seemed the most executable. I was so pleased with Petta Construction that I’ve had Dino complete 4 renovations for my family and one for my Uncle. Dino and his team are outstanding in all areas. They genuinely care about their work and about you and your family.The projects consisted of a significant 3 room addition to a house, a concrete driveway, a bathroom rebuild, a basement finishing and finally a near complete rebuild of a lakefront home. Dino and Nick proposed creative ideas which provided for flexible use at a reasonable cost. Every person that worked at our homes was professional, tops at what they do, cleaned up fully at the end of each day and produced high quality work at a fair pace. They also accepted and provided ideas as we went, keeping the projects on schedule. They showed respect for our home by always tarping off work areas and making sure we were happy. I did not have to worry about Petta construction workers - they all knew what they were doing and did it well.I do not imagine myself ever using another construction company - my highest recommendation to Petta Construction. If you have a construction need, either Reno or new construction, call them, you will be happy you did.
