Deer Lake Trails
Easy and relatively flat trail. Good for beginners and casual walkers. Walking around the lake can be done in under 2 hours.Deer Lake is quite diverse in its wild life, expect to see a lot of different plants and animals hanging around. Lots of green and blues.I find the smell of the lake to be quite distinctive.Also be careful of insects too! Lots of them around including swarming flies, dangling worms from trees, and slugs on the ground.

Deer Lake Trails
This is such a nice spot to bring the doggo for a casual walk around the lake. I was also very impressed with how accessible the trails are. There are benches placed throughout to provide a quick nature break. The board walks are wide and have toe boards to provide safe access for people in wheelchairs, walkers, strollers etc. However, some of the paved trails are slightly uneven and could use improvement.All in all, a beautiful spot within the city to come and enjoy nature for a moment.

A great park and easy hiking trails for everyone. The park is popular, so plan ahead. Otherwise, be prepared in parking further away. Parking enforcement are active on city street, so make sure you park legally.
