Pleased with the office efficiency, response time, repair person and service provided. Although I approved it in advance, I think the hourly rate is getting too high. This may be true of other handyman brokerage services as well.

Scheduled a bathroom fan replacement. The technician messaged 15 mins before citing an emergency and rescheduled for the next day. Then no showed again. No response from company or ability to offer me a solution. Do not recommend and will not be using.

The 4 stars is for the extra work put in by the 2nd handyman.The 1st one walked in and told me I had gotten a good deal (something I never asked). He damaged my new floor, painted the patch when you could still see the mesh under the mud and painted the walls without cutting in.Good thing my contract had a clause about satisfaction guaranteed. D. Singh, the owner, sent a 2nd handyman who took the time to finish the job properly.In the end, the job took 2 weeks longer.From now on, I'll make sure my contract is fully itemized and keep a signed copy that I give for the estimate of the jobs I requested.Not sure if I would contact this company again.

I was very pleased with the service provided by Handyman Connection. The plumber who cleared the plugged sink was efficient, professional, and did an excellent job. I was able to get the job done within a day of when I called and everyone was very polite and courteous. I would highly recommend them.

I have been dealing with Handyman Connection for over two years. It has been a complete nightmare!!! We signed a contract and paid an $8000 deposit for them to renovate our garage and two decks. They have since come back on numerous occasions requesting for more money over erroneous claims, essentially breaching their contract which we had signed.The agreement was that they would complete it within 2-3 weeks. We are now over two years in the project, and no where close to being done. The handyman did a horrendous job and decided to walk off the job, leaving a huge mess behind for us to deal with.We have done everything on our end to be reasonable, cooperative and professional. Unfortunately, this so called Better Business Bureau accredited company has made it nearly impossible to work with. They have not operated with integrity or professionalism; by breaching their contract, charging us for the mistakes of their handyman’s work, and for services we no longer need.We have shared our story with Global Network, Consumer Matters. They were absolutely shocked when they heard of such misconduct. They are in the process of investigating our case. Our hope is to share our story with the public to ensure no one undergoes the same misconduct we have had to endure the last 2+ years. Just goes to show even a BBB company can act out of line.

I was provided with a quote over email of $400. When the handyman arrived, the job was much more simplistic than assessed. It took him 5 minutes and involved screwing a large screw. Instead of adjusting the quote to actual time incurred, they insisted on charging the full amount for a 5 minute job. I said I'd happily pay the minimum charge but not $400 for a 5 minute job, asked if they'd do $200 and they refused quoting the job is complex when it wasn't. While I understand there needs to be a minimum charge to cover costs, I would have happily paid the minimum and not be charged $400 for labor plus more for materials when material is just a larger screw. Their lack of business sense and professionalism will not bring me back as a returning customer.
