Secondhand Heaven

Secondhand heaven is my favourite place to stop on my way through Creston! The prices and variety of items are unbeatable, plus I'm always greeted with wonderful customer service.

We did not stop in at this store because she ripped us off while buying. We were told she was fair and honest so we trusted her. That was our big mistake. We had just begun cleaning out my mothers house who had a large amount of collectibles, unicorns, Avon red glass, wild life sculptures and more. She came in, took all the good stuff, including a working fire place, two lamps, a huge wine rack, bird houses, probably about 20-30 unicorns, 20 pieces of Avon red glass, a bread box, glass casserole dishes, and much more. It took 2 of us 2 hours to wrap up for her, we loaded it all into her truck, completely full. Then she offers us $200. She had already agreed to pay $80 for the fireplace. We got her up to 300 but I would have been satisfied at 500 maybe. There was at least 1000 worth of stuff at garage sales prices.My fault for not negotiating before packing up her truck for her. She is not to be trusted people. The photos below are just the small stuff she took. Her truck was full.

A lovely place to stop when you are in Creston, something for everyone. Mandi also greets her customers with great customer service skills.A must see place!

I went to check out this store under new management. I bought a amber plate and a vintage camera. They are just perfect for my decor. Love it there. Unlike most antique/second hand stores I’ve been in where I’m afraid things will fall on me if I move a single item,this store is organized, easy to see what things are and isn’t crowded. Lots of little treasures to find. I like to watch their fb posts so I can snatch up any sweet items.

Can spend a hour in store looking for that great find everyone hears about. That would be cause its all good. Clean but isles are a bit tight for people to pass. The store should barter on prices a bit. Through my years of dealing with owner/owners, they are firm on prices.

What a treasure trove! There are so many beautiful vintage treasures in this location, making it more like an antique shop, as opposed to a second hand shop with the quality of items. There are still bargains on second hand items, but if you are a collector of antiques do not pass this shop by.

Mandi is kind, professional, and so helpful when I’m looking for something specific. Mandi takes her time to help me find what I’m looking for!

A great place to spend some quality browsing time through vintage items. Decent prices and tons of items. Definitely worth a stop when it's open. Limited hours so plan ahead.

A fun shop with inconsistent pricing. The owner does not know her stuff which makes it both frustrating and exciting to shop here. Seriously, you can find good deals but also be seriously over paying. Example, an empty ointment tin that still retains today for about 5.00 a tub as “$10 vintage tin”. It is not vintage. If you have the time, it’s worth combing through. Just don’t buy the pyrex here, you will be over laying.
